Perfect In All Respects

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for the best apartment to stay in Split, then look no further. Completely equipped, even down to matching cutlery and china (not often found in rental apartments), spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. Nothing is overlooked, and Gordan is an easy text away if you have any questions. He was more than responsive and helpful when it came to advice on where to go and what to do. We would happily stay there again when we return to Split. Thanks Gordan!

Wonderful, spacious, well stocked apartment walking distance from Old Town. Near grocery, bakery and tons of restaurants. Beautiful roof top views. Owner Gordan is sooo nice, super accomodating and tells you everything you need to know during your stay. Perfect place to stay in Split!

The perfect apartment is Split

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was perfect for my family of 4. Gordon was there to meet us and you could feel his passion for the apartment he has so graciously let others enjoy. Walking distance to all sights, yet tucked away from the tourists. Balconies high enough to have beautiful views of the harbor, bakeries right down the street forbreakfast. A short walk and you are in the middle of old town split with all the cafe's, restaurants and history. The apartment has everything you will need and Gordon provide great information to make this stay a great experiance for my family. Fast internet, a must with kids. Having 3 bathrooms allowed us all to get ready at the same time. Very spacious and well decorated, really felt at home.

Great apartment close to old town Split

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. We loved that the apartment had three bedrooms and three bathrooms so that everyone had their own space. Despite it being a bit cool, we still enjoyed the lovely terrace on the roof and the two balconies. Gordon was extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to answer our questions and give us suggestions. We hope to be back sometime.

Split - comfort, convenience and luxury

  • 5 of 5

This home was exceptional. Appointed with excellent taste. It has all the conveniences of home from the kitchen set up, laundry, bathrooms (3) but exceeds most home features with its rooftop terrace. The terrace is large with 360 degree views of the city palace, Marjan Forrest, the harbor and yes the magnificent Adriatic Sea. There is no better view and it was all our own! Finally, the owner goes above and beyond to help. He was like having a personal expert asst. Restaurants, sightseeing tips and routes and local insight to getting around in Split. What a great discovery. We recommend it highly.

Lovely apartment in great location

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from 2 week holiday in Croatia, stayed in Split 5 nights and really enjoyed the apartment. To a prospective visitor: one of best things is that Gordon , the owner is so very helpful both before you arrive and during your stay. He helped me in my planning to understand the bus and ferry transportation options from Dubrovnik to Split and Hvar, he met us at the ferry, he gave us maps for the city, and shared background on the country.

We were a two generation family of 5 - all adults that really appreciated the apartment features comfortable living areas, gorgeous kitchen, 3 nice bedrooms, and spectacular deck. Liked being able to use washer and dryer to catch up on traveling laundry. Kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment is nicely furnished and lovely artwork. It is not the typical rental.

Location- even after reading Rick Steve's and studying maps etc in planning I was not sure about location- be assured that location is great, very easy to access the harbor and Old Town where all the action is, and the street goes right up within a block to Entrance to Marjan Park. We felt like we were part of vibrant neighborhood. This is a wonderful characteristic of Split- it is very much a living city- local people, families, persons of all ages are living and working in the Old Town and historic neighborhoods . Within one half block you can get to a little market and friendly bakery. Your walk down the hill to the Old Town is comfortable, friendly, very short distance.

Ideas during your stay:

All the Diocletian palace and walking the delightful narrow streets.

Trip to Hvar which is beautiful island

The Maestrovic Gallery Museum we highly recommend

Our adult kids liked going out to Klis Fortress

We went to Trogir and really enjoyed it....take an express bus at bus station by the harbor to avoid all the local stops. Prices vary by company but very reasonable- 18 kuna I think.had great sea bass lunch at Dionis on promenade.

The Marjan Park was lovely forested park with paved paths, hermitage chapels built into rock cliff, and views of the area. Split has a lot to offer.

Favorite Restarant was little place called "Trattoria Bajamont"

Right at the end of our stay, we discovered a swell little neighborhood just toward the harbor right next to the apt within a few blocks...and wished we would have explored some of their little restaurants.

Happy travels to lucky people coming to Split.

This apartment is a welcome oasis for your stay.
