Great property for a big group

Loved the property. Everyone had their own space, and the gathering areas were big enough that we could all hang out together. Views are great. The pool area is a lot of fun. Really close to Manuel Antonio, the beach, and a lot of food options.

Nice place, but impossible to sleep

the place is really nice and Camilo is super responsive, however, we did get even one good night of sleep in our 7 day stay. The place is very poorly insulated and so you will hear the neighbors dogs barking all night long and constant traffic. It was as if the dogs and the traffic was in our room. To make matters worse, many of the windows don’t have curtains, and some of the ones that do are nearly see through so you if you like to sleep in the dark you are out of luck. It was so bright in the room at night that it felt like we had the lights on. Be prepared to wake up at sunrise. For the price I would have expected a much better experience.

Great place to stay!

We were traveling with another family and this house was perfect! Camillo was great and very helpful. It was nice to be able to walk to the grocery store and to restaurants and experience more of the local culture. We had a chef make us dinner the first night and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Location was great - you can see so many different animals and birds! Great house!

Easy to rent - concierge was great w suggestions! House is amazing and easy access to everything. Loved the beach and all the birds and animals. Would highly recommend - do the Buggy Tour!!

Beautiful home!

Casa Alta Vista is a beautiful home in a great location! The views are fabulous from the pool and the rooftop deck. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Camilo was very helpful in preparing us for the trip and while we were there. We had a great time and will hopefully be back again!

Fabulous Location, Wonderful Vacation!

We spent a week at Casa Alta Vista and really enjoyed our experience. There was plenty of room for our party of 8. Loved the food and the sunsets by the pool. Be aware that the hot tub isn’t hot but the jets still felt great after a day of adventure. Shiona is very helpful and gave us great ideas for tours and restaurants. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful house and location

This was one of my best trips! The house, location and staff were beyond wonderful. The house is very spacious and very close to restaurants, a supermarket and other attractions. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, from answering general questions promptly to booking excursions and activities for our group. The pool, the views, amenities, etc. made our experience amazing. Shiona gets 10 stars for being so awesome :)

Lovely Stay

Our group had a great time in Costa Rica and at Casa Alta Vista. The house was more than large enough for our 8 adults. We loved the pool area and ate outside in the evening most nights...lots of cooking on the grill. We enjoyed our tours and activities along with all of the people we interacted with. The people of Costa Rica proved to be easy going and easy to work with. I would highly recommend a vacation there.

Very nice place

The house was great. Had everything we needed. The concierge, Camillo, was terrific, meeting us at the property, arranging tours and always available to take our calls and answer any questions. Through Camillo we arranged for Chef Julio to prepare a wedding rehearsal dinner for our family and other guests. It was amazing.

Great. It noisy neighbors

We enjoyed our stay. Great house with tons of room. Awesome perks of a concierge and maid service. We had a few issues- no hot water in one room, broken tv, and a very close neighbor with little dogs that barked a LOT. But overall a great house and easily walkable to a few shops and restaurants.

Great property and terrific service from Camillo. The only recommendation is to rekey all the locks to one key. Having a key ring with 6 keys doesn’t seem necessary. Would definitely recommend.

Celecation!

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children & families & my brother. We had plenty of room, the views were spectacular & the house is close to public transportation. Camilo was wonderful. The buggy ride was a hit with our school age & teenage grandchildren. The waterfall is beautiful & it’s fun to get in the water. Public transportation is close & convenient. The grocery store had EVERYTHING we needed. So close to the house. We swam in the pool a couple times a day! The view is amazing. We were so comfortable!

BEST VACATION EVER

From the beginning the service was impeccable, the concierge was so accommodating for my group. We arrived early and needed a transport separate from the rest of our group. She replied quickly and tended to our needs immediately. All services we used were amazing. From the maintenance and cleaning, concierge and security. The property was absolutely gorgeous. All excursions were very well-priced and perfectly thought out for our group. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing! Casa Alta Vista exceeded our expectations

This was our first trip to Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio is a beautiful place and Casa Alta Vista makes it even better. There was plenty of room for 10 adults to hang out. We enjoyed the pool almost every day and the views are spectacular! Having the market and restaurants close by was a definite plus. All of the staff were super helpful and Shiona went above and beyond. She helped plan all our excursions, get drivers and made dinner reservations - plus she even decorated for my birthday! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making my 40th birthday one to remember!

Spacious home, excellent service & great location!

Highly recommend this property! Lots of room for our group of 9 adults. Location is ideal--grocery store at the end of the block, plenty of dining options within walking distance, bus stop close by to catch a ride to the beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park. Views from the pool deck and roof top deck are amazing! Concierge is top notch. Camilo was exceptionally responsive and informative from the moment we reserved Casa Alta Vista through checkout. From booking tours to providing helpful info about what to expect when in Costa Rica, Camilo did it all! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and hoping for a return trip one day! Pura Vida!

Paradise

We had a wonderful time in Manuel Antonio thanks to Camilo and his team. The house was beautiful and after getting in very late we were greeted with fresh fruit. The house came with a book of recommendations that were spot on. Camilo even made arrangements for us to go jet skiing on the ocean and sent a driver to pick us up. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and it won't be our last. One word of advise- take the location instructions for the house seriously!

Vacation review

This house was everything we expected and more. I cannot say enough good things about our service. It was hand down a 10/10! Every single thing was made super easy for our group of 8. The chef was amazing. All our excursions were wonderful, all because of our wonderful concierge Camilo! There aren’t enough stars to give him. He was simply amazing! It’s in town which we expected, and actually made it super easy with younger kids. We loved the dogs Romeo and Juliet that were frequent visitors. Overall this stay was amazing and we will be back!

Best Vacay Ever

This home is beautiful. Almost too much space for our party of 6, if there is such a thing as too much space. The home could easily accommodate 12. The outdoor area, pool and dining, are perfect. I would be nervous with little non-swimmers as the pools is easily accessible. The location is walking distance to bars and restaurants and a grocery store (where you get a discount during your stay). The view from everywhere is spectacular. The concierge, Camilo answered all my questions before and during the trip. He scheduled EVERYTHING, all we had to do was choose and enjoy. I cannot wait to come back. Would highly recommend.

Casa Alta Vista

The location was good- you are not at the beach, but you can easily get there by car or bus. The view from the top deck was great, we watched the sunset every night we could. The house is spacious and well kept. It is located a couple of houses from the grocery store, and is close to many restaurants. Camilo was very helpful in arranging everything, and answering questions before and during our trip. We enjoyed all of the trips we selected from his suggested list. The home was a little hard to find- I would say turn left at the Joseth Grocery Store and go up a few houses to the wood/white gate. We enjoyed the pool area after our excursions and in the evening. I would recommend Casa Alta Vista as a great base for enjoying the Manuel Antonio Area.
