Remodeled in the summer of 2008, this house includes 2 queen beds, one full bed, 2 full baths and an outside shower. The house accommodates 4 people comfortably but will sleep no more than 6. Gulls Landing is a quick 5-minute walk to the beach. It sits 4 lots back from the ocean front. It's located approximately 45 miles south of Nags Head, a half of a mile north of the Avon Fishing Pier, one mile north of Food Lion, and 6 miles north of the historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Randy and Stacie Taylor love Hatteras and having been coming to the beach together since they got married. Randy grew up vacationing in Hatteras and introduced Stacie to the relaxed lifestyle. Stacie was blown away by the island's simplicity and immediately fell in love...with the boy and the island. Both enjoy fishing, looking for sea glass and other beach treasures, and soaking in the rays. We hope our guests love Hatteras as much as we do.

Great location, clean and all the comforts of home
My two sons and I had the pleasure of staying at the Gulls Cry. It is in a great location, short walk to the beach and several shops and restaurants close by. There is also a Food Lion grocery store not far from Gulls Cry. The facility was clean and had all the comforts of home. We grilled out one night and had all the kitchen supplies that we needed. Stacie and Randy's communications were excellent. They wanted to make sure our needs were met and that we would enjoy our stay. Hope to stay at Gulls Cry again. October 5-8, 2018

Family beach week
Really enjoyed the House it was well laid out for a family of four close to the beach on the Oceanside of NC 12 on a quiet street. Well appointed would have loved it more if there was a deck off of the screened in porch. Owners were very responsive and asked a couple of times how we were enjoying the house. I would recommend for a family of 4 or 5

Perfect for small family
My wife and I recently stayed here and we loved it. It met all of our needs/wants and more. The location is great, just a couple houses from the beach access, and also walking distance to a number of restaurants/shops. The house was clean, everything was updated, and the screen-porch was really nice in the morning & night. I would definitely recommend this beach cottage, and hope to be back again soon.

We do Sunday to Sunday rentals. We require a 5 night minimum stay during the months of June, July and August and cleaning is included in the price listed. Partial week rentals are offered; however, during the months of June, July and August, we can take your reservation 2 weeks before your scheduled arrival date. A $50 cleaning fee will be added to partial week stays. Change over days are Sundays. In the event that the Leaseholder must cancel the reservation, notify the owners as soon as possible by phone or email. Within 60 days of the time of your arrival, the owners will make every effort to re-rent the property. If the owners re-rent the cottage, all monies will be returned within 30 days after they have received the re-booking advance rent payment from the new tenant. If after diligent effort, the owners are unable to re-rent the property, the 50% deposit will be forfeited. If you need to cancel within 30 days of your arrival, the 50% deposit will be forfeited. If you need to change your vacation dates, then 30 days or more prior to check-in, your dates may be switched to a week of equal value or rent applied towards a week of greater rental value.
