Cozy lakefront cabin on a natural lake with hot tub, grill, wood fireplace and deck overlooking the water. Minutes from downtown silver springs, silver springs state park and other springs. Other accommodations include queen bed, full size bunk bed, fully equipped kitchen, fire pit and washer/dryer.


The space
This beautiful cabin is nestled against a spring fed lake in the heart of the Ocala national forest. It is located 12 miles from silver springs state park right off of scenic Hwy 40. The property is minutes from local shops and restaurants yet secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful scenery on the lake. There is fishing, horseback riding, golfing, hiking and zip lining all within a few miles. It’s also just a short drive from the Glades Arts and Crafts community. A day trip to Daytona beach and the many other activities in Daytona are less than 1 hour away. Also feel free to just hop in your car and take a leisurely cruise along the scenic hwy 40, grab an whoopie Pie at sweet jane`s candy store and a plate of fresh seafood from Lena`s seafood or Gator Joe`s Beach Bar & Grill.

This dreamy getaway also offers a charcoal grill and picnic area, wood fireplace, deck, 150ft dock and a hot tub that is drained and cleaned between every guest. There is a TV downstairs in the living room. With a fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, master bedroom, and loft bedroom, this cabin is perfect for small families or couples seeking a quiet getaway.

The natural lake remains quiet and peaceful, and the area mostly attracts individuals seeking peace and serenity.

Really great location and convenient to Silver Springs State Park and Ocala, FL. The house has a spectacular view of a freshwater lake and there is a lot of wildlife nearby and in the vicinity including lots of birds! Family of four stayed here comfortably, cooked a few meals, fished a little, and enjoyed the dock and breakfast on the deck in the morning. The house was comfortable and enjoyable for 4-5 people and made our trip to Ocala complete.

Absolutely amazing lake front property, very relaxing, high ceilings and a gorgeous inside and outside. I loved looking out at the lake in the morning and Silver Springs state park is a close drive. Would definitely stay here again. The host is superb and responds quickly. Lovely get away! 10/10

We loved the beautiful landscaping and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. The location is very convenient to several springs, hiking and the grocery store. The host is quick to respond to questions and he answered my phone call immediately when I thought I was lost. Being able to bring our two little dogs was a huge plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The regular road noise was very annoying on the first night .( The home is very close to the road) .I know the owner can’t control road work but the second night we were woking by the road construction from 2:30am-4:00am . The refrigerator/freezer didn’t properly work. Beautiful view of the lake ,convenient location! Ceilings are low !

I really appreciate you're review. Regarding the road construction it looks as if they were repaving it. The construction was completed that night and there doesn't appear to be any construction in the future. Regarding the fridge not working, I was notified upon checkout that in had stopped working. I had a company replace it with a brand new one within a few hours of your departure from the property.
