Beautiful home with private dock just across the lake from Eddy Creek Marina. House has everything you need for a great relaxing vacation. Basement area was perfect for the kids and even had toys and legos to keep them busy.

It was very nice property for our 4 couples. The only thing I could say bad would be the thresholds of the home need to be cleaned

We couldn't have asked for a better host. Excellent communication and welcoming. The house was fully stocked, beautiful inside and out, with amazing views. It had everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. An excellent fishing area where we caught hundreds of bluegill, catfish, crappie, and redears.

Great location and great place on the lake

We had a great time at the property over Easter weekend. Enjoyed the location on the lake. The kitchen is terrific and a great space for a large family to gather together.

Family getaway

Great get away with family and friends.

The property was perfect for my family and friends for a Labor Day get away. Clean, convenient to Eddy creek resort and town and stores. Owner very responsive and easy to work with. Would rent again for sure.

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful home and appreciated having an extra kayak. We’d love to stay again. I enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, spacious dining room, gorgeous lake view, and the large amount of towels.

Check in was super easy. The view from the living room is amazing. Large home with room for all 6 of us, could double that amount and still have enough space. Basement is big and great for a kid space. Quiet neighborhood. Only down fall is the highway is right by the house. Dock was nice and easy to catch fish. The plastic cover on the mattresses was a little annoying. But this is really a nice place to stay-no problems with the house at all, in fact the owner never heard from us we had no complaints.

Hello Mary, Thank you for your kind review! My wife is big on clean/sanitized so yes the mattresses all have plastic covers so there is no chance of bugs/germs/etc from previous guests after all the sheets are washed. Also, yes the road does have some noise, but also makes Barkley Breeze super easy to find. Also there are no curvy, narrow roads to manage if towing a boat which many of our guests do. We felt like the owner had furnished this property as if he was living there. The home was warm and welcoming with modern appliances, soft towels and matching dishes.The location was wonderful for the firepit, the deck provided a view of the lake. The grocery and restaurants were just minutes away. The owner was quick to respond to our questions.

Lake fun for family

Plenty of room to spread out for big family. Dock very convenient for docking boat and dodging storms. Grounds big enough for corn hole, parking, and even a crawfish boil. Good centralized location for all to do on North end of Barkley.

Relaxing Lake House Vacation

We took our family of five to stay at this location because it was close to family who live on Lake Barkley. The house is well appointed and very comfortable for a large family. The view is gorgeous and since it has a private dock, our family could just cruise across the lake to pick us up on the boat. It was very clean, newer and modern. Would love to stay again.

Spacious Lakefront Home

This spacious well-maintained fully-equipped lakefront home is great for families. We loved the view from the living area and adjoining deck. It perfectly suited our needs as a base for taking in the 2024 total solar eclipse. Communication was seamless. We would certainly book again.

Views for days

Such an amazing property, with room for everyone. The house is really clean with all the amenities you could want. Nice touch of plenty of keurig pods fully stocked and a nice gift basket with snacks ands a bottle of wine. We loved fishing from the dock all day. The crappie bite right off the dock is really good.

Lake Trip

Our stay at Barkley Breeze was so nice. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time with family, The property was clean, being right on the lake was a plus. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the canoe and kayaks. We also enjoyed the fact that it was in close proximity to hiking and sight seeing . We did have an issue with the door lock box, but the owner was very prompt in responding and making sure it was resolved. We will definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Land Between the Lakes

I live in Bowling Green, Kentucky with my wife and 4 children. We enjoy water sports and wanted to find a place within an easy drive of home where we could build family memories for years to come. Now we are sharing our family lake house with you in the hopes you can also build fun family memories here. We have tried to provide everything you need at Barkley Breeze to be safe and comfortable during your stay.

Why they chose this property

Our property is bounded by water on 2 sides and highway 93 on one side so there are no crowds nearby but restaurants, shopping, and theatres are only a short drive away. Eddy Creek Marina is right across the water so it's convenient to put boats in and out as well as having boating service and supplies.

What makes this property unique

Barkley Breeze has a beautiful water view and a private dock just a few short steps from the house. The Eddy Creek finger of the lake is not congested and great for boating or floating. Fish can be caught right off the dock.
