What a beautiful home to relax in along the lake! The owners have thought of every amenity possible to make your time there most comfortable. And, there was plenty of room for the entire family to spread out when needed. I hope we can go back to this lovely home again.

Wonderful and thoughtful guests with great communication and definitely would love to host this family again. Thank you guys.
It was a great size. Plenty of space for all of us and the little ones to run around or watch their own shows on one of the many tvs

Several safety concerns, floor levelness and older deck railing. But overall nice house.

Girls trip
We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a high school graduation! Age ranges from 13-61.Accommodations were adequate for our needs and the kitchen was equipped with all that was needed. Outdoor furniture could be updated as some was broken. Once the game room gets completed it will be an improvement. House was overall nice even though it could use a little TLC.
It says lake accessible but you cant get to lake because of all the huge trees on the shoreline. Very dangerous. The downstairs smelled horrible of dog urine in the carpet. The house needs some serious pest control. The surrounding area is beatiful with plenty to do.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We always aim to provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable stay for every guest.
Regarding the shoreline, access to the lake can vary depending on seasonal vegetation and natural growth. However, we will pass your concerns on to the Corps of Engineers, as they manage shoreline maintenance and tree removal in this area.
As a pet-friendly home, we have our carpets cleaned frequently to ensure comfort for all guests. We’ve never received a complaint about odor before, but we take this seriously and will investigate further. Likewise, we were unaware of any pest issues, but we’ll have our pest control service do a full inspection to be sure.
Throughout your stay, we responded promptly to your calls and sent our maintenance crew to assist where needed. While there was some confusion around the stove, we were happy to help and did not charge for that service.
We appreciate all guest feedback as a way to improve. While we’re disappointed this stay didn’t meet your expectations, we do wish you the best in your future travels.
We stayed at this property during the week of the Total Solar Eclipse in April 2024. The home had everything we needed and there was ample room to spread out and enjoy. Huge kitchen with everything we needed to eat in. All the essentials were available.
Thank you to the hosts for making this available, if we're ever in the area again we'll be sure to book.
It is a very nice place. Plenty of room for a large group. The kitchen is very spacious and up dated. The view of the lake is beautiful. We were surprised that there was a sewage plant next door. We did notice a slight order, but it did not prevent us from having a very nice time. Not much parking so couldn’t keep our pontoon at the house.

Thats is not a sewage plant, its a water treatment plant. Only listed that way on google maps. They only thing they do is draw water from the lake and treat it for princeton water and "sewage" department. As for the oder, you would be the first people out of over 100 we have hosted to mention that. I am certain it was not from there nor the house. But thanks for staying.
Very spacious and the kitchen was updated and amazing, the radio in the Fridge was a family favorite. Upper part of the house was a little warmer than the lower part of the house and the outside deck was in rough shape. We enjoyed the downstairs covered patio overlooking the lake and the game room. The concrete floor in the game room was in bad shape and there were a bunch of wasp in the outside patio but they did have multiple cans of wasp spray so that helped. 3 bathrooms. Two of them had showers but one had a tub only and wasn’t usable so that was disappointing. The Sink in the kitchen backed up and wasn’t usable for 1/2 a day but the owner was very responsive and had it fixed when we got back off the water. Overall it served our needs and everyone had a good time.

Thank you for your review! We're so glad your group enjoyed the updated kitchen — the radio in the fridge has become quite the unexpected hit with families!
As noted, multi-level homes can have some natural temperature variation, especially in the summer months. We're always happy to provide extra fans when requested. We're also glad you made good use of the game room and the downstairs patio — and that the wasp spray we provide was put to good use (life by the lake does come with a few flying visitors).
The third bathroom is as described in our listing — a tub-only option that remains fully functional, though we understand it may not have suited your needs. We were happy to get the kitchen sink resolved quickly, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of that.
One quick reminder for the future: our house rules do request that all guests park only on our property. This helps ensure a smooth experience for everyone, including our neighbors and future guests.
Thanks again, and we’re glad the home served your group well overall.
Best,
Mark Combs
There were a couple of issues with the kitchen sink and a towel rack but that did not deter from the overall rating. There were 12 of us here celebrating my husband's and great nieces birthdays! There was plenty of room for all of us. We had room to move and there were two living rooms so we could spread out. We were a little disappointed that we had to climb over logs to get to the cove BUT the fishing was great! We caught 13 catfish! We catch and release so they are out there for the next guest to catch! I was sorry we did not get to enjoy the deck because we were there the week of extreme heat warnings! Way too hot to sit outside but nice and cool inside! The owner even allowed us early access to the house which was great! Everything you needed to know about the property and wi-fi access was all typed out in a nice binder. So check in and check out was pretty seamless.
We had 4 couples, one with a teen boy. We had plenty of space, and accommodations. The puzzles were great for an afternoon and evening activity since we were in a heat advisory and it was miserable outside, at times.
