Salt Lake Sunset House

We named this home after the YouTube channel we share with the world, “Salt Lake Sunset,” where we live stream the gorgeous views from our home!

The minute you walk into our home you are immersed in views offering the beauty that is Utah!

Our home is located on the mountain bench of what is referred to "Capitol Hill" directly behind the Utah State Capitol and central to everything Salt Lake has to offer.

The space:
Bright and modern 3 bedroom home with outdoor patios and balconies. For the ultimate enjoyment the house includes a sauna built into the downstairs bathroom as well as a large game room with a pool table, ping pong, video games,, an electronic dart board and more.

Ideal for:
Our home is great for couples or groups, families wanting to relax, hang out or explore Salt Lake and the greater valley. Business travelers that want a fantastic place to unwind in close proximity to the airport and downtown. Outdoor enthusiasts, whether skiing at one of the world famous ski resorts (40-45 minute drive), hiking, mountain biking, or just enjoying beautiful Utah.

Living Area: large living space with 2 sofas, 65" flat-screen TV, and a wood burning fireplace

Bar and Gaming Room: large private area with chairs and barstools, bluetooth enabled surround sound system, pool table, ping pong table, electronic dart board, and a bar that includes an ice maker, large refrigerator, and extensive glassware (sorry, per Utah law alcohol can not be offered or left for our guests, but you are welcome to bring your own)

Dining Area: indoor dining at the counter or table that seats 8, outdoor dining at the table that seats 6, with a gas BBQ and gas Traeger smoker

Kitchen: fully stocked kitchen, with every appliance or gadget you could need

Balconies: all of the balconies have ample seating to enjoy the 180 degree view of the Great Salt Lake, including the Capital Building, Temple Square, Antelope Island, the international airport, and the mountain ranges surrounding Salt Lake; we really can't put into words the beauty of the views from the house! The sunsets are just spectacular!

The entire house is available to guests with the exception of the mechanical room and garage. Laundry access in the garage is available to guests staying long term upon request.

Access to the laundry facilities in the locked garage can be requested for long term staying guests.
