About the property

Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Our townhouse is tastefully furnished south of the border style. Skylights brighten open floor plan interior. A spacious great room features high ceilings, gas fireplace, dining area, and view of the Catalinas. Bedrooms are located at the opposite ends of the unit.

Wireless DSL and utilities included.

Master bedroom has a king bed (two twins merged) with a 36' flat screen TV; Second bedroom has a queen bed with 23' flat screen TV. Living room includes 55' HDTV, Bluray/regular DVD player, radio and CD player.

Enjoy beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains and Canada del Oro River bed from the patio. Patio has old Mexico feel with cobblestone, lounge chairs, and string of soft lights. You will enjoy the evening sunset as it reflects stunningly on the Santa Catalina Mountains. Early risers are treated to phantasmagorical sunrises.

It's just a 3 minute stroll to the shared community pool and hot tub. There the Catalina Mountains provide a striking backdrop as you swim, soak, or just savor the setting while relaxing in a chaise lounge. Tucson Omni National offers two excellent golf courses, a world-class day spa and workout center (daily fee), and three restaurants. An excellent walking/biking path is right across the Corona del Oro river bed. Nearby: YMCA, Pima Community College, Bashas grocery, cafes, and several reasonably priced public golf courses. Foothill Mall, other shopping and dining choices are within 15-30 minutes. Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona can be reached in 25 minutes.

About Ruth Hofmeister

Ruth and Tom are St. Paul and Minneapolis born Minnesota natives, avid golfers, bicyclists, hikers, and travelers. Why Ruth Hofmeister chose Tucson & Southern Arizona

We fell in love with the Omni Tucson golf courses, then selected our Omni Tucson campus townhouse because of its stunning view of the Catalinas, 16' ceilings, skylights, and easy maintenance. We love having nature, golf, swimming, soaking, dining, bicycling, starry night skies, and walking activities right from our doors.

What makes this townhome unique

You'll enjoy the golf, swimming, hot tub, tennis, landscaping, walking trails, safety and friendliness and amenities of Tucson Omni. A lovely public library and YMCA are within a mile; Bashas grocery with a strip mall is 1.5 miles away. Greater Tucson offers big city attractions, medical and personal services, hiking in nearby mountains, cultural activities, beautiful botanical gardens, high-end to craft show shopping, abundant golf, restaurant choices from fine dining to funky cafes, an International Airport, and the many activities/museums/learning opportunities at the University of Arizona.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We loved this tidy, well-equipped townhouse. The view of the Catalina Mountains from the patio is stunning.

We found the location of this townhome to be its best feature. The furniture is older.the linens are threadbare and the towels are bleach stained .The cleaning fee is high so imagine our surprise when we arrived to find an added requirement to wash all bedding and towels before we left. The propane tank was almost empty when we arrived so we filled it and expected to be re-imbursed but the owner hasn`t bothered to refund us the cost.

Owner's Response: Dear Brian and Sheryl A check to you for $50.00 is in today's mail. I am truly sorry for the problems you endured and will make sure this sort of thing does not happen to future renters. Ruth
