My family had a great experience for our two week stay. The Cabin oozes mountain charm. Beds got high marks for comfort. The screened back porch overlooking a small brook and rhododendron thicket was a perfect spot for winding down.

The mountain house is lovely and comfortable with a nice set up, including spacious sleeping areas, eating/living area, and lovely outdoor areas (I especially appreciated the screened-in porch with multiple seating areas off the main living area). The check-in process went smoothly with one exception: we had reserved and paid for an early arrival time. However, the cleaning service was still finishing up 1.5 hours after our guaranteed check-in time.Another minor comment: there was a paucity of "starter kit" amenities: no tissue boxes, no mini shampoo/conditioner. Having stayed in numerous comparable homes in the area, this seemed "stingy," but is easily correctable.Aside from those items, the stay was quite enjoyable.

We are sorry about the delay in cleaning. Our cleaner supposedly arrived at 8 AM after a nice group of guys doing work locally left. Unfortunately, our cleaner had more cleaning than anticipated in order to give this guest an early check-in at noon. Our cleaner is a perfectionist, which is a great trait for cleaners, and I am sure she had the cabin spotless when these guests arrived. Unfortunately, this guest did not take the time to describe the condition of the cabin when our cleaner was finished. We provide a beautiful home with linens, clean accommodations, paper towels and toilet paper and soap. Because it seems like most of our guests have their personal preferences on shampoo, we don't provide shampoo.

This beautiful home was clean & decorated beautifully for the Christmas season.Comfortable linens were provided. It easily accommodated our family of 10. The downstairs living/bunk area was perfect for the kids. They loved the foosball! The cabin’s gas logs provided warmth as well as ambiance.After an afternoon of snow tubing it was great to return to a fabulous cabin to relax in. We will definitely stay here again!
