Blowing Rock cabin rentals

We came here to get away of the daily urban life. We found exactly what we needed, a place so peaceful that you can hear only your own thoughts! Is very easy to find, yet so well hidden from the world. Thank you Michael for being so accommodating and welcoming.

A comfortable stay for a short visit to Blowing Rock. Very convenient location and the property was clean and well appointed. Housekeeping folks were super nice and the owner very accommodating. A lovely spot!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage, celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary. The wood walls and ceilings are beautiful and the back porch was very peaceful. It was very clear and had everything you need to be comfortable. The homemade soap was a nice touch. It was close to Blowing Rock, yet private. Will visit again! This was our 6th time staying at this wonderful cabin. We have been bringing our grandkids now with us for the past 3 visits. They love their room upstairs, and discovered a new hide out created in one of the bedrooms with a ladder that goes up to the space. I love the the absolute tranquility found here. The creek that runs behind the property sounds so soothing. The first thing I do when I get there is open the kitchen windows to hear it! The master bed is very comfortable to sleep in and the kitchen is well stocked to cook your meals there. We love the dining table and sitting area outside on the back porch! Every trip we always go over to Grandfather Mtn. to walk across the suspension bridge. It's a tradition we have created. I probably shouldn't go on anymore, because once you go, you want to go back.That will make it harder for us to get a reservation lol. It's a great place to stay.

We go to blowing rock a couple times a year and this cabin was perfect in every way! Great location, very clean, well stocked and so comfortable; not to mention the pictures don’t do the incredible views justice! The owner was very responsive and provided every detail needed for an easy stay! We will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay at Skylark. Property was clean and had all that we needed. Would be helpful to have a few more towels though. The pics online showed twin beds and a full bed in the loft area but what was there was a day bed with a trundle which was fine for what we needed. Everytihng was in working order and we would definately stay here again!

Dan, We have enjoyed a remarkable month at your Lions Den. The location is perfect for all activities in the area and everything worked well in the house. We enjoyed day trips to Linville Falls and Linville Caverns. A drive down the parkway to Cascade falls was beautiful. We enjoyed morning walks at Valle Cruces Community Center and fishing for trout in the Watauga river. Only caught small ones so We went to Grandfather Mountain trout pond to catch our supper. Your gas grill was very convenient and used often. We enjoyed eating at your outdoor table. Morning coffee on your front porch was a ritual as well as evenings spent talking and watching fireflies. The only bad thing is having to leave tomorrow. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for the month of August. Future guests should me mindful of parking directly under the pine tree. The tree was dripping some sap on the car. I was able to remove it with some rubbing alcohol and going thru a great new car wash in Boone next to the PNC bank on Blowing Rock Road. Also visitors should spend a few hours in the historic district of Blowing Rock and make reservations for dinner at Over Yonder in Valle Crucis and visit Ma's produce store on Hwy 105 toward Grandfather mountain. There is sooo much to see and do plus time to sit back and enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool temps. PS. Many thanks for arranging for the house to be cleaned after the first two weeks.
