About Natalie Roy
Chad and Natalie Roy live in Louisiana but find weekend visits to the Bay a time to reconnect with family. Chad is a native of Lafayette Louisiana and Natalie is from Canterbury New Hampshire.
Natalie Roy purchased this House in 2011
Why Natalie Roy chose Bay Saint Louis
Chad grew up visiting Bay Saint Louis as a teenager and enjoyed sailing, fishing, and boating with friends. The small town charm and kindness of residents still exists today. Despite the severity of Hurricane Katrina, the beach was rebuilt to be wider and the bike trail completes the experience of exploring the area.
What makes this House unique
This property shares the best of access options for Bay Saint Louis. The home is located in the fourth ward (Historic Old Town Bay Saint Louis) yet is very close (less than two blocks) from the beach. Either is accessible by walking. Main Street is less than a mile away; the beach is approximately a three minute walk.

Wonderful vacation and very reasonably priced. The house and the host were amazing. This will be a future rebook for us.
Great place to stay
The house was very clean and plenty of room for me and my family. The neighborhood was quiet which was nice for just lounging around outside late in the evening. Very short walk to the beach and is in very close proximity to some great restaurants. We will definitely be going back at our next opportunity.
The home is very comfortable and great for children. The backyard is a dream and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Beautiful property. Exactly what we were looking for!
Space was perfect. Lovely home. Really liked that bikes and kayaks were available for use although bikes were not all in working order which was disappointing since we are a family of five. Will recommend to others. Thank you!
Older home but well maintained.
Great backyard. Not as close to beach as we usually have. Enjoyed the local seafood places.
The home is actually a newer home and it was built AFTER hurricane Katrina. It is a block and a half from the beach as seen on the VRBO location map. That part of the beach is ideal because it is the widest. As you get closer to Main St you loose the beach depth and the bike path. I am glad you enjoyed the backyard. We are fortunate to have four historic oak trees on the property.
A very special place.
The home was very nice and large enough for everyone. The kids loved having their own room with the bunkbeds. The backyard was an added bonus with the large oak trees and lots of grass. A very peaceful atmosphere after beach and sun. My family took full advantage of the available kayaks and the bikes. The city did a great job adding the paved bike/walking path all along the coast. This will definitely be on our list of places to stay in the future.
Bay Saint Louis has the charm of a small bay town with charming antique shops, talented local artists and restaurants bursting with flavors of the gulf.
Located less than an hour away, visit New Orleans for the day.

In 2012 Budget Travel Magazine nominated Bay St. Louis as one of the Coolest Small Towns in America.
For towns to be nominated, Budget Travel Magazine says they must have an indescribable something: independent shops, a sense of energy, an epic backyard, culture, delicious coffee, etc. The magazine is looking for towns with an edge and a heart, and Bay St. Louis fits that description!
