Sunday River Brookside condos on mountain ski in/out off the Road Runner trail, 1-bedroom condo, sleeps six with (1) queen bed and bunk beds located on a quiet first floor level.

On the second floor level there is a full service kitchen with roll out bar and three steps up from the kitchen is the living room with a full size pull out sofa, 48” SmartTV with cable, Wi-Fi, fire place, and a balcony over looking a private wood area. The entrance to the unit has a full bathroom with a separate sink out side the bathroom.

There is access to the outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, Looker rooms, Ski Lockers, Common room with fireplace, Laundry room and slop side parking. This condo is within walk distance of the tubing park, White Cap Base lodge, Southridge Base Lodge, The Phoenix House, the Shipyard brewpub, South ridge Base lodge and is on the shuttle route.

Great Condo

A great condo with no frills perfect for a ski trip. Kitchen equipment is fully stocked and it's very easy to get to the trails!

Great Condo

This was a great place to stay. It was close to the White Cap ski lift and centrally located to the restaurants and Southridge. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that the pool was closed for the last 3 days of our stay.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Shawn's ski on/ski off. The condo fit all of our needs and was a short trek to RoadRunner with easy access to White Cap. Shawn's communication was great. We would certainly stay again.

Ski stay at Sunday River

The condo was clean and had a very easy check in. Shawn was quick to respond with my questions. My family loved being able to throw on their skis and get right on the hill.

Perfect for ski in and out, fun community

We loved the access to the mountain and ski in/ski out of White Cap. The property has a ski locker for ease. There is a pool and fun area for kids and adults to congregate. The unit itself is just what you need. No frills but great access to restaurants and SR resort amenities.

Awesome condo

Brookside is a fabulous ski-in/ski-out location, and this condo is particularly excellent if you like to cook your own food. The knives are sharp, there are good pots and pans (and a crockpot, which we used a lot), in addition to the usual expected dishes. The table setup is also good for both cooking and eating. We had a great visit, and will be back again!

Great place to stay right on the mountain. Very easy access to the white cap lift and plenty of space for all your gear in the lockers. If you're looking for a ski in/out rental this is the one you should get!

Exactly as advertised

Always a good time at Sunday River. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space for Brookside, clear instructions for parking, keys, etc. Ski in, ski out with an outdoor hot tub, can't be beat.

Fabulous, comfortable slope-side condo

We had a great stay here, Shawn is very responsive. In addition, Shawn's condo is set up for folks who like to cook: lots of pots and pans and equipment beyond the minimum so that we could cook our meals as we liked. Very comfortable place to hang out after we'd skied our legs off! (We recommend the pool, too!)

Great location, very comfortable condo, and pool and jacuzzi are great amenities. Would recommend some new spatulas for cooking. Also, it appeared that the oven could use a deep clean.

A Jewel at Sunday River

Great property with solid renovations. Unlike many Sunday River properties, this was exactly as described and expected. Great base for skiing and relaxing. Brookside is a great complex. The outdoor pool and hot tub are A+. The pool and adjacent lounge were hopping until closure -- 5x more activity than other complexes on mountain. Plentiful parking.

A Ski Vacation Oasis!

This condo was the perfect place for our Ski Vacation- I truly miss it already! BEST part for us was LOCATION: this condo complex is tucked in the beautiful mountains of Sunday River Ski Resort, so everyday we just stepped outside & skied right from the condo down to the main area/ski lifts! 2nd BEST part: After a long day of skiing, we absolutely enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, hot tub, & sauna that relaxed our muscles and felt amazing! The condo itself was simple & a little outdated with the furniture- but that also added to its charm. It has a good kitchen (we cooked a few times), bathroom was clean, & nice TV/streaming to watch whatever you want. The ONLY negative part: the Queen Bed was not comfortable- it caved down into the middle so my partner and I kept moving in towards each other (we are normal weight sizes). The Queen is downstairs with bunk beds next to it. We thought the listing showed a King size bed also (?) but we did not see it (unless the King bed is a pull-out mattress inside the couch upstairs). We still slept fine because we were exhausted and blissfully happy from hitting the slopes each day! We loved the historic little towns Newry & Bethel, ME (fave restaurants: Le Mu Eats & Butcher Burger)! I am going to miss soaking in a hot tub under the Maine stars surrounded by snowy mountains each night. Thank you for being a great host, Shawn. I think we might have to move out to Maine in the future! :)

Great location/ owner but expected more out of this condo

The outdoor hot tub/ pool and at Brookside is fantastic and the owner was also very pleasant to communicate with. There was a horrible rain storm there and it wasn't clear what would be open at Sunday River, and Shawn was willing move our reservation if we wanted (in the end, we made the best of the skiing conditions). We would not re-book this particular unit as-is (instead would do another Brookside unit) because the mattresses/ beds were subpar and we did not sleep that great. You can feel every spring coil on the bunk bed mattresses. The queen bed mattress was better but if the person you were sharing the bed with as so much twitched a finger it was an earthquake for you - no shock absorbance whatsoever. Also, the top bunk bed has no side railing and my 16-YO said he almost fell off in the middle of the night. I did OK on top bunk one night building walls out of the blankets. The other issues with the place was that we had no hot water one afternoon: both my 12 YO and myself got cold showers. More minor irritations: cobwebs hanging off the ceiling, extremely dark living room, no cheese grater. Check-in instructions made it sound like there were small bath towels at the pool but we could not find any and we had to be stingy with towels. On the plus side, it was nice that there was oil spray, windex, and Clorox wipes. Tons of blankets. The fireplace was pretty awesome and I liked the versatile bar/ table in the kitchen.
