I did not receive the entry code 2 hrs before the selected time. I arrived at the house at the appointed time without receiving a code hoping that someone would meet me. No one was there. I texted and called the host but never got a response. I was transferred to the property management who also tried contacting the host but they never received a response. My family and I never entered the house. We had driven over 1500 miles for the Thanksgiving Holiday and didn't have a place to stay. The Property Management Company did give me a full refund.

Great place; lovely patio

Everything about the facility was fine. The dent patio was so nice and relaxing. The issue was the communication and check in process. I use the VRBO app for all the necessary information related to the place I am staying at, including the address and checkin information. This is not how the communication or the check in process was handled. Initially we communicated through the app then they switched to text and then they switched to sending information to my email!! This caused a lot of frustration and confusion upon arriving and checking in. I intentionally paid for the night prior to my arrival so I could get in to the house as soon as I arrived. The address in the app is a fake address and I initially missed this from the text message a month earlier. Everything in the Vrbo app should be the correct information, including the address. The address is sent separately either by text or email, which again is just confusing.
