We had a wonderful family getaway for thanksgiving! Our host was helpful, and warm when I did have a random question. Amazing balconies to take in the ocean view and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. Would definitely recommend!

House is very nice. Easy beach access. Good location if you're looking for something off the beaten path. Not super close to town and restaraunts. Great oceanview but alot of road noise.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the house was very comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the house was not ocean front as described. It did have incredible views of the ocean and it was a quick walk to the beach but we did have to cross 87 to get there. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

Very nice, comfortable, private. A lot of stairs was expected; however, some sort of pulley system would be a welcome site for groceries and bags . All and all a great place. Very clean.

Peaceful 1/2 Acre Lot!

Quiet and not sitting on top of neighbors! Very clean and well stocked. Beach is an easy 1 block and visible from both decks. First experience on a mezzanine balcony...new favorite space! Enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Cons:As others have mentioned.. it is not ON the beach. The listing clearly says on the beach but it’s across the highway from the beach. I was in a hurry when I booked so if there were pictures showing that it was not on the beach.. I didn’t see them. The house may be the tallest one on the peninsula.. if you aren’t young this is good information to know. The living room furniture needs to be cleaned! Pros:The house was supplied with everything you need .. plenty of towels and also beach towels. The bathroom and kitchen were both very well stocked. The host was easy to contact.

Loved the location and how much open space we had between neighbors. The house was the perfect place to relax in-between beach time and exploring the town. Best spot for shell hunting on the beach directly across the road, a short 5 min drive up the beach was best for sandcastles and all day play!

So happy to have spent a long weekend at Daisy‘s place! The property is situated on the Bolivar Peninsula before you get to all of the activity of Crystal Beach, which made going to the beach and having a lot of space around us ideal. It was a quick walk across the street and we were on the beach. It was also nice to be able to walk out the front door and see the ocean in the morning and sit on the front porch and watch the moon over the ocean at night. The porch in the middle of the steps offered a great breeze and area to relax out of the sun. Daisy was extremely responsive to our questions before arrival and was accommodating to let us check in early. We would definitely book this property again.
