This unit was awesome. The back deck looks out over the beach/Gulf and was our evening gathering spot for our group.

We just love having meals on the deck and watching either the sunrises or sunsets in the late fall. Being on Holiday Isle makes navigating the traffic so much easier with the light onto Hwy 98. It is convenient to everything. Sandpiper cove is great to work with too.

Great location

Great location and beautiful view! Very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is providing a few more toiletries. We’ve stayed at many properties in sandpiper, and most provide a single use of laundry detergent, shampoo or conditioner this did not. It is July, and the master bedroom didn’t cool as much as the rest of the condo, wish there was a fan. But an amazing place and very nicely decorated :) we will be back to this unit!!

One of the cons was only two trash bags and no paper towels. No full size broom and the vacuum seem to blow out dust and sand as you picked it up.

And have went up on their prices. We will not be coming back here for a while. Which is sad because that is the only place we stay when we come to Destin.

Location, location, location!

When I tell you that I have set my chairs and umbrella up on beaches further back than this room was located, I mean it. It was so close to the water!! And going to the car and back was like walking out my door at home. No waiting on elevators, no climbing flights after flights if stairs, no crowds. There is a red light to get out on the street which was nice. I would definitely stay in the unit again. The porch/balcony was large and nicely shaded. The unit was clean and the beds were comfy. The pool was located close enough for us to walk to without much effort.

I booked the same unit last year and now this summer. I would have rented it again, but it almost doubled in price for the same days and darn amount of time which is really discouraging. I was looking to rent 15 days if the price wasn’t too crazy, but I guess this willbe my last year here. If you can afford it, please do stay, just the location alone makes it an amazing family vacation.

#2024 we celebrated My 50th&Fabulous Birthday Vacay@SPC

We LOVE Sandpiper Cove!! This is our 6th year staying at this resort. We've been in diff condos w/all diff views !! This one has the BEST view of all we've stayed so far, but it is not equipped with 4+star amenities, several things cld be updated. Master shower has horrible water pressure, the refrigerator is on the verge of almost all shelves breaking, new pans for cooking are a must bcuz food sticks in most of the ones this condo had!! I also dont think just bcuz of the view from the balcony this condo shldnt be awarded the free chair services we're used to having at the others!! But was told by Benton the Chair guy this specific one ddnt get free chair service which in my opinion whether if you spend $500 or $3000 for a place it shld come w/that amenity automatically.....js & overall we love SPC & will come bk every year!!

The pots and pans were terrible, which I'm sure they have taken a beating over time. I'd suggest upgrading those. Another suggest might be to install a pull out yawning as when it's raining the decks leak terribly. A pull out yawning would allow u to enjoy the out doors more. Overall, it was a wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

We love unit 1156!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third time to stay in unit 1156. It is always clean and comfortable. We love the remodeling they've done to the kitchen and guest bathroom. They've also made the front porch much bigger than it used to be. The view from this condo is the reason we choose the unit, it's the best! It is a one-minute walk to the beach access entry. A few minor issues we noticed this stay-several of the blinds were missing from the living room and it left a gap where beachgoers could easily see inside the living room and the ice machine on the fridge was not working. The outside of several of the surrounding units were in need of repair and it looked messy/trashy. It would be nice if the resort would provide free ice machines throughout the property. For the price you pay for the beach front units, the two chairs/umbrella beach service should also be included in the cost. The gated staff were friendly and the location is great! I love that the buildings are lower (not high rises), making it have a more intimate feel. Be sure to bring your own food, drinks, toiletries and laundry soap (if you plan on using the laundry amenities). Free wi-fi is included.

The mattress needs to be replaced in my opinion. The sheets had hair on them. We saw big waterbugs, which grossed us out completely. The check-in went very well, and so did check-out. I will give this condo, a 3 out of 5 stars. The pictures are accurate.

It was all clean and orderly for sure, but we were very disappointed it did not come with the beach chair and umbrella pkg. this will probably cause us to select units that do in the future. We were also surprised there wasn’t a wine opener, but understand it may well have had one that walked out with a previous renter!

We stay here just about every year now..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a fantastic location, and perfect for my family of 4!! However, the floors were filthy. My children’s feet were completely black after 10 minutes of running around. Cleaning isn’t something anybody wants to do at the start of their vacation. Would’ve been 5 stars all the way around otherwise.
