Our family had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and roomy. The yard and the lake were beautiful. Perfect for our family getaway to relax and unwind! Will definitely remember if we are back up this way.

This is a nice location with a beautiful lake view. The neighborhood is quiet and safe within walking distance to one great restaurant. The house has been renovated nicely. We made suggestions to the host for some improvements to housekeeping but overall it was fine.

Very nice cottage on Lake Winnebago. Clean and well stocked. Nice deck overlooking the lake with table and chairs for relaxing. Good location for exploring the area and there’s a lot to see and do. We really enjoyed the nature reserve just down the road.

This cottage was perfect for our family weekend getaway! It is an adorable old cottage with modern updates that don't take away from the charm. Although we didn't have time for many of the house's amenities, it has a gorgeous view of the lake. The communication was above and beyond! We had a slight change in the accommodations and it was no problem! Check-out was one of the easiest we've experienced. We will definitely book again if we come back to the area!

Location is lovely as you are right on the water. While the property allows pets, there are strict house rules that I haven’t seen at other pet friendly houses such as not allowing the dogs on any furniture and having a fine if they find dog hair on the furniture or beds. Also, the house needs to be updated for the price they are charging. The patio door is broken and difficult to open, the flooring is taped down in one area of the kitchen and the shower upstairs doesn’t drain properly. Some of the dishes were also dirty when we arrived.

This guest acknowledged the house rules about the pet at booking. We do not allow pets on furniture and beds. Why she wrote this on review when it is all over our listing? What she doesn't explain is her dog peed on the floor so we had to take care of that after she checked out. WE WONT RENT TO HER AGAIN and asked for VRBO to take her account down as she denies accepting house rules at time of booking. She also let her dog run around the house and property without a leash which is a violation of our village government leash laws. The neighbors complained to us.

Overall, we felt it was a good experience. Unfortunately, the smoke from Canada limited what we could do outside, and the cottage had enough things in it to keep us entertained. There seemed to be more than enough things to do in the area besides the obvious - the lake! We are glad we find this listing.

The property was as advertised. Super cute cottage with spacious bedrooms and big dining table. The lake was amazing and easy access to the water. Nice fire pit and amenities. The host was super responsive and quick to respond to inquiries. Great place for a family and friends!
