Great stay in Wilmington! Pet friendly rental with a small fenced in yard, fire pit, screened in porch and more. Really nice upgraded space within walking distance to so much that Wilmington has to offer. Comfortable sleeping areas, 3 bathrooms which is always nice and great kitchen space. Easy and quick communication with the hosts and easy check in and check out processes. We had a phenomenal stay and will absolutely stay here again when in the area!
The owners sent a message with all the info I needed for a quick and easy check in. The kitchen was on the first floor - clean and well stocked with any kind of cooking utensils you would need. Loved the screen in back porch despite being there during some rainy weather. Hosts were very quick to respond and even let us push back out check out time. Great spot!
We had a wonderful stay. What a great little neighborhood. Anything we needed or wanted was within a 10 minute drive or a short walk. The home was immaculate. The decor was beautiful and the home itself was perfectly spotless. We would def stay here again when back in Wilmington. P.s. our pups loved the backyard and lounging in the sun.
We took a chance on this new VRBO listing, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and modern the home was. Everything was just as pictured—if not better. It was thoughtfully furnished, well-equipped, and had all the comforts of home.It perfectly suited our family’s needs, providing plenty of space and a welcoming atmosphere to relax and enjoy quality time together. The attention to detail and care put into this property truly stood out.We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and family-friendly getaway!

About the host
Hosted by Dena Daniels and Darren Skeen: Carolina Vacays
Darren and I are a couple who LOVES Wilmington and restoring/renovating historic homes. This is one of the many reasons we fell in love with this city many, many moons ago. We moved from the Durham/Raleigh area and are working hard to finish our forever home in Downtown Wilmington.
Outside of restoring homes and hospitality, we are foodies, love the beach, entertaining with friends and family, creating cocktails and taking our rescue doggie MaciGrey any and everywhere with us.
Over the last few years, Wilmington has created a wonderful craft brewery scene. Once we are done working on homes and Carolina Vacays, you will find us at one of the many breweries taking in the brew of the day!
Why they chose this property
The Brooklyn Arts District is one of Wilmington's oldest downtown communities. But, this area has been experiencing a wonderful resurgence thanks to the Brooklyn Arts Center restoration from former church into Downtown's Wilmington premiere wedding and event space! There are breweries, eateries and boutique shops throughout the area.
The best part of it all????? The home Brooklyn 415 is IN THE MIDDLE of it all! The Brooklyn Arts Center is literally across the street, so no worries about parking for events as this home allows parking for 2 vehicles.
What makes this property unique
1) New construction in the middle of the Brooklyn Arts District! 2) 20 steps to the Brooklyn Arts Center. 3) 3 houses away from Edward Teach Brewery. 4) Around the corner from the "One Tree Hill" Bridge!! 5) 5 blocks away from the Historic River Walk 6) We LOVE doggies! Never a pet deposit or pet fee to stay here!
