Excellent vacation spot

We were ever pleased with the cabin. It was an excellent place to stay so that we could enjoy Dollywood. It was very close and convenient to a number of attractions we wanted to visit. The cabin was wonderful. It was clean and exactly like described in the listing.

Birthday Trip

It was great and we highly enjoyed our trip. It was close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Everything worked as it was suppose to. You pay for what you get and for the price, I felt it was good! I loved the check in and check out process. People were so nice. I really don’t have complains.

We stayed 3 nights for our 18yr anniversery over all cabin is ok needs new pool table they had a my.dew box folded up and under a leg on it. Needs updated period we had to clean the hot tub because it was dirty, shower stained, and the carpenter bees were bad they drilled in everything, check in check out was a breeze over all had pretty good stay just those few things is all

My Review

Would recommend a different type of game table other than pool on the second floor. Wow! Also would recommend some additional items in the kitchen for cooking. Also would recommend trash pickup when a larger group is staying for a week. Other than that the place was great with a nice mountain feel and accommodated my family of 7 nicely.

Nice location but not so clean

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and privacy was excellent. Inside was not clean and kept up. Needs better maintnance and repair on many things. Hot tub was leaking and floor rotting underneath.

It’s in the mountains and normal but there were roaches in the kitchen. One small one crawling on my babies clean bottles and another adult one crawled out from under the fridge. Again, expected with mountain area but I’ve never had this issue anywhere else I’ve stayed down there.

Very small

My grandkids came for 1 night , the Christmas tree in the cabin was only lit on bottom and no ornaments, I call that no effort for your guest. The cabin next door was able to have an outside fire and we had no Pit. King bed needs new Mattress. , we have stayed in numerous amounts of cabins in East Tennessee and were kinda disappointed for the Money spent.

Cute Cabin in Great Location

The cabin itself is really nice. On the surface everything looked clean but if I had any real complaints it would be the cleaning. There was dust and cobwebs throughout the house and we didn’t use the sofa bed because of the dirty mattress. Management was wonderful and understanding so that was comforting and nice. The check in and out procedures were easy. The pool and air hockey tables are junior size so that was a little surprising but the kids had alot of fun. The hot tub was nice! The cabin has a good amount of space outside around it and is secluded but still close enough to drive easily into Pigeon Forge. It isn’t big inside but the layout is nice and we were comfortable. Everything worked and the beds were good except the futon squeaked with every move. We had a great time making some wonderful memories.

Overall a great cabin

The cabin was pretty clean. My only recommendation is to insulate the floor between levels so you don’t every little sound upstairs. Also, the futon needs to go. That is the noisiest thing ever and wakes up everyone downstairs when somebody moves on the futon. We had to end up laying the mattress on the floor for the kids to lay on so we could actually sleep.

Getaway

The location was just right. Out of the hustle of the major towns but close enough to be right in the action when you want to be. Plenty of room and a great layout for a family or friends to enjoy. The cleanliness of the cabin could of definitely been better upon arrival and cabin could use a lil maintenance and updating but would still rent again.

Over all nice place to stay

Overall it was a nice place to stay. The location was perfect between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the neighbor is weren’t loud. The grass was a little tall for my short Scottish Terriers legs and they came and made a few swipes with the weed eater which helped. I didn’t call about the crazy amount of dust in the cabin or the kitchen sink that leaked because I don’t like people in the cabin after we are there. When you can write your name in the dust next to the TV, the bears look white instead of black, beautifully crafted spider webs in the corners, windows that have water spots on them from never being cleaned and dirty sheets from not being changed out the last time and you charge a housekeeping fee. It’s just a little much. Management should take a look at the work being done. Feel free to contact me and I can show pictures.

Cabin in Moutains

The noise level was very loud due to the futon upstairs screeching at every move. Ended up taking the mattress off and placing in the floor. Needed another full bathroom for 2 families under the same roof. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the cabin was nice.

Great!

This is a great cabin! Close to everything but secluded enough for privacy. The hot tub was perfect and both beds were very comfortable. The games in the game room could use some updating and TLC, but we still had fun in them.

Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed of cleanness, first thing we seen was roaches. The bathtub was standing full of water. Washer was full of dirty towels. Windows were nasty. Dust was on top of things so deep you could write your name in it. Cobwebs though out the cabin. Take a bath and next person would have to wait about 3 hours to have hot water. Hot tub is junk!!! And had beer bottles and leaves in it. Couch had food between Cushing’s. Very disgusting. Don’t know who you have cleaning this cabin but they need to be fired!!! I just wonder what there houses look like!!! Cabin has been very poorly maintained. Paying all the cleaning fees is a Joke/Ripoff. Haven’t had time to do this and to advertise for you until now.

Disappointed with the cabin for the money- Mark/Penny from Michigan

The good first off, Aunt Bug's contacted us early, around 12:30 pm telling us that the cabin was ready. After that, it was all down hill from there. We got unloaded and later went to pull the master bed sheets down. First off, the comforter had what appeared to be a blood stain on it, no additional description needed. We removed it and replaced it with the other comforter off the other bed. When we did this, we noticed the top sheet had various different hairs all over it. We removed this sheet to wash it since the other bed was a smaller queen size. When we opened the washer, it was full of the previous tenants dirty, wet towels. We had no choice but to remove them to wash the sheet. We were finally able to go to bed. The next morning while getting into the only shower, we noticed black mold on the bottom of the inside curtain. That morning we went to Aunt Bug's and complained about the condition of the cabin given that there is a cleaning fee charged and the expectation is that the cabin will be clean. The guy that we spoke to had extra sheets, towels, and a new shower curtain sent out to the cabin. The damage had already been done. We slept a second night on those sheets and decided to change them the third night. Of course, we had to completely strip the bed down to the mattress pad. Waiting for us was another surprise, the mattress pad had an actual blood stain on it in the middle of the bed. Needless to say, we were totally grossed out. We could not understand why the cleaning company (people) would not change this out. Guess that cleanliness is not that important to them. There were more problems with this cabin which included the shower faucet in the main bathroom turning all the way around with no hard stop to turn off the water. At some point the seal will be torn and you won't be able to turn it off. The gas fireplace did not work, it was shut off. We wanted to try it out since it was unseasonably cold, but that wasn't possible. It appeared that there was a problem with it since there was residual smoke damage on the ceilings below and above. One last item, everything in the cabin from the furniture, appliances, fixtures, etc needed to be updated. It was either scratched up, broken down (living room coach), or just plain old and outdated. You have to put money into these things to make sure that they remain appealing. Not sure if it is Aunt Bug's, the owner of this cabin, or VRBO that we will avoid in our next trip to Gatlinburg.
