Summer vacay
Property and cabin were nice and secluded. Was disappointed that the game system was not working. It appears that the pedal was broken. This was one thing them kids were excited to have, and that was a factor in selecting cabins. Also, had many lights out in the fixtures, TP holder was broken, and towel rack was badly bent in first bathroom. More bugs than expected in back room and trash from previous parties was left under the bed.
Very homey cabin in the woods. Right by everything you’d want to visit, very clean and comfortable inside with room to hang outside. Private despite its location, which was a big plus! Would definitely recommend for a couple’s retreat or small family.
The location of the house was perfect for us. Its 5-15 minutes away from everything you want to see and do. My only complaints are the beds a full size not queen and the hot tub need a good cleaning. It has a lot of hard water and other build up in it. Also note GPS may take you across the street from where the house is located.

Great Location
The Cabin is in a great location, lots of privacy.
We loved the cabin and the pool table and hot tub! Very private. The owner was great communicating with us and let us check in early per our request! We could have used a warning about the steep incline to the cabin. When we first arrived, the water had a sulfur smell but that went away after the first day. Besides that, everything was perfect! Thank you for a great stay!
This cabin was so cute and in a quiet area. No one could see us there! It was clean and uncluttered. We loved that it had the bedrooms separated by the kitchen with their own full bathrooms right outside the bedroom doors since we had 2 adult couples staying there. The pool table was a fun addition as it got really cold a couple of the nights we were there and didn’t want to get out. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great place to stay! It’s as it is described and in a great location. Host was very easy to communicate with and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Only thing I’d add is some kind of light out back for walking the dogs :)
We booked this cabin for our 24th anniversary and could not be happier. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was relaxing, and the location was very convenient to local attractions. We played pool and connect 4 in between hot tub dips too. In all, I give this property and trip 5/5 and would rent again!
Bear Haven was the perfect cabin for us. The cabin had pretty much eveything we needed. The teens loved the hot tub. Location gives easy access to area attractions. We would stay here again.
We decided to go to the Smoky mountains for New Years. We had a great time. The cabin was well set up and in a good location. Driveway is steep and kind of hard to find in the dark, but was the perfect place for us to enjoy family time.
Property location was great, very close to Pigeon Forge. Property manager was a pleasure to work with. Very receptive and in constant communication with us.

About the host
Your host
I’m someone who truly enjoys hosting and making people feel at home. I first discovered the Smoky Mountains on a trip with family, and I knew I wanted to build a place here where others could make their own memories. I value clear communication, quick responses, and doing everything I can to make your stay smooth and enjoyable. Whether you need help planning your trip or just want a quiet space to recharge, I’m here to help—but never in your way. It means a lot to me when guests say they can’t wait to come back—that’s what I aim for every time.
Why they chose this property
I chose this spot in the Smoky Mountains because it feels like the perfect escape. The area is peaceful and quiet—surrounded by trees, wildlife, and that crisp mountain air—yet it’s just a short drive to all the fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I love waking up to the sound of birds, sipping coffee on the deck, and then heading out to explore the trails or grab dinner in town. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and that’s exactly what I wanted to create for myself—and now, for my guests.
What makes this property unique
What makes my cabin special is the balance between comfort and fun. I’ve put a lot of care into every detail—from the cozy cabin décor to the arcade game room, hot tub under the stars, and fast Wi-Fi for those who need to work or stream while they unwind. It’s pet-friendly because I know how important it is to travel with the whole family, paws included. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family trip, or a relaxing solo retreat, I’ve tried to make the space feel like your own private mountain getaway—warm, inviting, and just a little magical.
