The place was exactly as the host described, and the top floor had a great view of the ocean and wonderful ocean breezes. We really enjoyed the Venice boardwalk, and it was fun to have a jigsaw puzzle to work on in the house when we were tired from the ocean and the boardwalk. Also, when we had trouble with the code to open the garage door, Justin was immediately responsive and sent someone to work on it right away. I would definitely recommend this place for a vacation at Venice Beach!

The owner was very communicative and was very honest which was appreciated. We arrived to what appeared to be a rougher neighborhood than we expected but it ended up being totally fine (with kids.) He assured us it’s safe and it was. The house was a true beach house with basic needs met. Walked to coffee shop and to the canal neighborhood; right across the street from the beach which was great. Locked garage was key- no street parking available- we fit a minivan in on a diagonal.

This was a last minute booking since our other rental fell through. The location is amazing. The owner communicated very well. The property has a lot of potential as it is older and kinda run down. The AC does not work. I was nervous about this but over all after opening the windows, the ocean breeze was fine.
