About the host

Chrissy and I (Brock) met while living/working in Seattle. As our relationship grew, I decided it was time to take Chrissy to Trout Lake to meet my parents and see the place that I will always call home. It was love at first sight! She was blown away by the beauty of the surroundings, the fresh air, the many fun things to do, and a sense of freedom that I don't think she had ever experienced before.
After a few more trips back "home" to Trout Lake, it didn't take long for Chrissy to understand that bitter-sweet feeling I had always felt when coming back for a visit. We loved nearly every minute of our time spent in Trout Lake, but it killed us everytime we had to make the trip back to reality. Trout Lake had quickly become our weekend retreat of choice.
When the opportunity to take over Trout Lake Cozy Cabins presented itself, we were quick to jump on it. We loved the idea of the business--that we could share with others the beauty of this area and the experiences that we had grown to love so much. The cabins were especially appealing as we felt they were more private, intimate, and a better overall experience than a traditional hotel.
We are both very fun loving people who live a very active lifestyle and enjoy spending time with family and friends. We are very excited about our new venture and look forward to meeting many new people who we can share this wonderful place with.
