The view is awesome.. The float on the Deschutes from Tumalo park to the house takes about 40 minutes and very easy..Roomy hot tub and my 1st sauna...Deer every day on other side of river and 22 different birds...Wonderful

Great view and loved listening to the birds and the river. The deck has a gas fireplace and upper seating area for enjoying the outdoors. The yard out front is good for your dogs if you bring them but there is no lawn out back. Lovely sand to sink you feet into but not for dogs and cleanup. Overall its a great locations and value with easy access to The Bite food trucks and fun music dog friendly as well.

A/C didn't' work. Heater didn't work. House was quite dirty. Appeared to be mold in the shower. Overall the house and property are not in good repair. Deck board sticking up, causing a safety hazard. Outdoor Sauna is plugged in by an old extension cord running across the deck that is then plugged into an indoor power strip (outdoors), causing a major fire hazard. No fire extinguishers to be found. Firepit did not light. Driveway is very narrow so backing out is required. Cable across hot tub cover (because straps are broken) is sharp and cut by hand. There's no clear access to the river. Dog poop all over outside. Do not recommend staying here.

The house was clean (except for an opened pregnancy test in the bathroom, assuming that's not a standard stocked item). The hot tub was clean, in working order and needed no instruction for use. The sauna and 2 of the 3 gas fireplaces needed troubleshooting to get them to work. The grill did not have any propane. And both showers were a little confusing but worked. It may have been helpful if there was a notebook with information on the appliances. But the only thing provided was the wifi info. The refrigerator had an error message and didn't seem like it was maintaining a cold temp. We messaged the host about this, they responded asking if someone could look at it, which we agreed to, but never heard anything else from them about it. And the stove/oven dials have the demarcations worn off. This made it impossible to tell what temp the oven was, resulting in slightly overcooked food. If you only care about the hot tub and the waterfront location it's an ace, otherwise there are likely other better options.

The A/C in the house was blowing hot air, and we requested maintenance on it. After waiting at the house the next day for someone to show up, they finally did after 5:00. They told us the issue was the filter, but they didn’t have a new one with them.. so they had to come back another day to replace it. The new filter didn’t make a difference. It was cooler in the house with the air turned off — we just opened the windows at night and kept the shades closed during the day.The hot tub appeared it hadn’t been cleaned, as there was quite a bit of sand in it when we arrived. The outdoor lounge chairs were stained with something that must have been spilled. There was dog poop in the sand near the water. We were, however, able to get the BBQ, fire pit, and sauna to all work (which it sounds like others have had trouble with).I threw away the pregnancy test that someone else had mentioned in a review 6 months prior to our stay… yes, it was still in the bathroom and was opened/used.The pictures of this house look amazing, but compared to some of our other recent trips, this was a disappointment. We will be back in the area again next year but will look for a different property for our stay.
