Pros: Great location. Walking distance to the Hangout and many other bars/restaurants. The room was clean and the view of the Gulf was great.
Cons: The "bedroom" doesn't have a door. It's wide open. This is fine if you're a couple or small family. If you want any sort of privacy though, this isn't the place for you. The "bedroom" also doesn't have a TV as the listing says. Overall, we felt the listing description was misleading. When I think of a 1 BR apartment, I think of a bedroom with a door and enclosing wall. This place is better described as a studio.
Couldn't have been more perfect. We had always styed in hotels before so was nervous about choosing a condo, but this one was just lovely. Furnishing were current, and gave that beachy vibe. And the view was just what we were looking for, gulf front views, with doors opening to balcony to sit on and listen to the waves crash. Well equipped kitchen with every appliance, pan, dish, spoon, needed to make meals if so desired. Small apartment size washer and dryer to use, which was nice, but is for really small loads. Within walking distance of several shops, and restaurants. (Check out the Shrimp Basket, it was great!) Staff was really friendly, and since we arrived earlier than expected, really went out of their way to get us into our room before our check in time so we could start enjoying the beach. The unit is undergoing some renovations but didn't deter from our experience and the workers were really friendly also! Only negatives we can say is the elevator did stop with my husband and some other guests inside once, and had to have fire/rescue get them out. Took 20 minutes, but just made for a good story to tell! And elevator could be heard a few times one evening late into the night (during spring break with college kids getting in at all hours!). And the parking is really tight. We loved our stay and will definitely return again another time!
The location and view from the room is great. The was room was average. The bathroom vanity had very little for your bathroom item and the space for the toilet is very tight. The furniture and room is showing signs of wear and tear. Overall it was good for the price.
