Cute Tiny House! Everything we needemfortable. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Owner was very friendly and had lots of information on the area. Cabin is a long way up the mountain, lots of narrow twisting roads, but so peaceful! Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch!Listing was new to VRBO, and definitely worth the chance!
The cabin was very clean and well organized. It was well stocked with all the necessary dishes and supplies needed to grill and cook. The owner was very communicative and even stopped by to check on us when she saw my hubby grilling. Would definitely stay in this cozy cabin again!!

We look forward to your return. Thank you for the great review.
The host is amazing! Great communication, cabin was clean and perfect for a couple or 2-3 friends. The cabin had a lot of basic supplies and for a short stay we did not need to buy anything. Cute and cozy. Quiet area. We were lucky enough to see a bear nearby our cabin as well.
Not only was this home extremely beautiful and very well kept, but it was extremely relaxing and Serene. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay for our 20th anniversary, the swimming hole was gorgeous and very private. The beautiful mountain roads on the way to the cabin showed some of the areas absolute Beauty. The host was extremely respectful and very easy to deal with. We plan on renting this home again for a 21st anniversary because it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this rental to anybody wanting peace and relaxation.

This cabin is so cute! It was perfectly cozy for the two of us. The only drawback to the cabin itself is the tiny shower, but we managed. The private boat ramp is private to the community, not private to the cabin itself. It is a little tricky to find so I wouldn't try it after dark, but GPS got us there. The most important thing to me, it was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!
This little cabin is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for what we needed it for! Super clean, no bugs, and got nice and cool with it being pretty hot and humid during the day. We liked that it was gated in and everyone else around was super quiet. It was the perfect distance from all the hustle and bustle of downtown. You lose all the “city” feel and truly get the quiet mountain vibe. Communication with the owners was stellar, they were available to answer any questions and were more than accommodating! We will be saving Dogwood on our list for when we come back!

So happy you had a great time at Dogwood. Being on a large gated property makes for a peaceful and safe time. This little cabin is perfect for a party of two (plus 2 kids, if applicable) who wants to be near the lake and close enough to all the action of Pigeon Forge (30 minutes) and Gatlinburg (45 minutes). There are no other Douglas Lake main channel cabins closer than these offered here. Lynda Smoky Mountain Lake LLC
