Beautiful Luxury Cottage in the Historic Core of Jacksonville, Oregon! Convenient location steps away from great restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, wine tasting and Britt Festivals! Enjoy your stay at "The Laundry" a lovely historic home. Remodeled and professionally decorated in French Country Chic style with luxury Italian Frette sheets, Turkish towels, robes, slippers, enchanting landscaping with two private fountains and outdoor eating! Ample onsite parking with complete privacy!

You will have access to the entire home. Approximately 1250 sq. ft. with high ceilings. Two flat screen SMART WIFI TV's with Cable and WIFI/Internet provided, desk/work area along with fun games. A washer/dryer with soap supplies is provided for your convenience. A fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gas range. Cuisinart coffee pot with Starbucks coffee and tea provided.

For your comfort the bedroom has a large king size BeautyRest Black mattress with feather-bed topper, Italian linens and Hungarian down pillows. The living room has a large deep couch with feather stuffing that is also a sofa sleeper. The couch can comfortably accommodate 2 adults.

This was a great place to stay in the middle of our two week trip. It is a beautiful place, both elegant and relaxing. There was soft music playing and the lights were set low when we arrived mid afternoon. It was pretty perfect all the way around. Good location and very well equipped for anything youā€™d want to do.

Amazing Host!

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic! Jackie, has thought of every detail to provide comfort and style. She went the extra mile by leaving a wonderful snack basket and a warm friendly note. The cottage is in great walking distance to downtown and the local grocery store, which we loved. The bed and linens were very comfortable! We also appreciated the information binder that included details on how to operate the lights, remote controls and navigating Jacksonville.

Amazing cottage!

We had another absolutely amazing stay at this adorable cottage. The host Jackie is amazing to communicate with and super accommodating. The location is fantastic and the cottage couldnā€™t be more adorable inside, with attention to detail in every little nook and cranny. We canā€™t wait to come back and stay!

two nights in French country charm

I was early and met the host, Jackie, who was just finishing up before our arrival. She was lovely and upon hearing I am a celiac, offered to bring some homemade bread she had baked that day, as it was gluten free! What a lovely gesture. My mother in law and I were in town for a baby shower. She slept in the bed and said it was surprisingly quiet in the room, and the king bed was very comfortable. I slept on the sofa bed, which was not too bad. The property is beautifully decorated and the location can't be beat for walking Jacksonville. The bathroom and kitchen were carefully curated and wanted for nothing. There was a local craft market right across the street on Sunday morning. We will definitely be back.

The perfect Holiday

This property far exceeded our expectations. Jackie the hostess has created a beautiful setting to unplug and rejuvenate in! As very seasoned VRBO renters, this property is at the top pf the list and we have already booked it again for another stay. Beautiful property in an excellent location for exploring Jacksonville and the Applegate.

Thoughtfully curated, with French influenced decor and a myriad of well placed conveniences such as a welcome basket, bottled water, chocolates by the comfortable bed, etc. Check in process couldnā€™t have been easier with a coded/keyed entry, and we appreciated the texts from our host to confirm everything was as anticipated. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio for morning coffee, while the side patio offered a great spot for people watching and a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook if one was so inclined, with a local upscale market one block away. We opted to bring in dinner from restaurants just steps away instead of dining out as we loved the ambiance of the home. We travel throughout the world and this is definitely one of the best rentals we have experienced. Highly recommend, you wonā€™t be disappointed!

Fantastic home, location, and host!

Originally from the area and returned for a visit. Always loved Jacksonville, but this home made it even more special. Such a unique setting inside and out! Jackie was so gracious and welcoming! Wine and treats so appreciated. Home was so well equipped with all you would expect, but so many small essentials as well. Walking distance to all in Jacksonville. Park your car and forget it. Expand your horizons with a short drive to the Applegate Valley vineyards. We will return. Thanks Jackie!

A little slice of heavenā€¦

Our son and daughter-in-law recently moved to Jacksonville so my husband and I were excited to visit their new little town. Itā€™s such a quaint village that transported us to times gone byā€¦such a beautiful area! We were very impressed with Jackieā€™s home away from home. Every amenity was provided for from kitchen to bath needs and the home is beautifully decorated in a French style. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio out front one morning and enjoyed the live music from the pop up farmers market across the street. We also enjoyed seeing a few deer passing by earlier in the day. There are many wineries in the area and some great places to dine and wine taste in town, too. We will be returning in the fall again and looking forward to seeing the fall colors and staying at Jackieā€™sā€¦donā€™t hesitate to rent this beautiful enchanting home!

Jackie went above and beyond to make her property comfortable for us. It's experiences like these that make us always want to stay in a VRBO (but most are hard to come by like Jackie's). From the decorations, kitchen supplies, cookware, bathroom amenities, ease of contact and cleanliness...every single detail you can imagine, or ask for, was provided for us. A slice of heaven

This was such a beautiful property. There was no detail overlooked, the furnishings and linens transported us to the French countryside. Jacksonville is a charming little town. It is within a block and a half walk to the downtown and all the quaint shops and wonderful dining experiences. I recommend staying at this property to anyone that desires a responsive and communicative property owner, who truly wants you to have a joyful, relaxing stay.

Perfect place close to food and shops

First of all, the place is beautifully decorated and in the heart of downtown Jacksonville but still very quiet and quaint. Jackie is the perfect Host. We got to check in early(didnā€™t even ask) and it was my bday and she had the most beautiful cake, card, and candles waiting for me. As well as lots of snacks, a few waters and creamer for my coffee. So thoughtful. We stayed for 3 nights and loved our stay there. It has everything you could possibly need and more. We will definitely be back.

Elegant Cottage full of charming details

I loved this property! Very beautiful details in every room that made you feel like you were living in luxury. A stunning and fully stocked kitchen so that I was able to cook breakfast and dinner without issue. Washer and dryer for laundry was very helpful after hiking. Gorgeous patio and the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept on. Owner Jackie left a detailed informative binder for use as well as laminated info sheets where needed, like for wifi and lights. I also appreciated the small details like chocolates by the bed and some bathroom items in case of need. The bathrobes and slippers were so nice and made us feel pampered. The price was also affordable for such a stunning piece of property to have the opportunity to stay at! Thank you so much Jackie!

Perfect location for romantic getaway

My wife & I felt at home in this beautiful cottage. It is well decorated & comfortable. The location is perfect to walk to local restaurants & shops. The host, Jackie has thought of everything from luxury towels & bedding to complimentary ear plugs & treats. She is an amazing & responsive communicator - she even left a handwritten card to my wife & I. The outdoor space here is equally amazing & we enjoyed our morning coffee there. The kitchen is fully stocked, but we opted to eat at the many wonderful restaurants nearby. We hope to return to this property again.
