Close to the excitement of Whistler village, yet far enough for tranquility

2 Bedroom and two bathroom condo. The master bedroom has a king, the other bedroom has two single beds, and there is a fold out sofa queen in the living room. (Sleeps 6)
The Ironwood is family friendly & ideal for couples as well. It offers a rec room with ping pong table, large heated outdoor pool and hot tub with panoramic 180 degree view of Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains. This comfortable condo has an open concept living with natural light in the living room. It has a spacious sunken living room w/ vaulted ceilings/fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make dinner for the family. We have a large Smart T.V. connected to internet, with Netflix available. Down by the pool area, there are common use barbecues available poolside. There is a rec room with a ping pong table.
We are about 1 km from Whistler Village and Whistler and Blackcomb ski lifts, and about 2 km. from Creekside, which has a gondola to Whistler. The award winning Whistler Golf Club is within 1km. There is shopping and restaurants in Whistler Village nearby.
Our complex is often chosen because it is private and quiet.
We are small business owners and are vigilant to make sure you feel safe, comfortable and ready to book!
• Our rental unit is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each visit.
• Extra cleaning is in place including laundry of duvet covers and disinfecting high contact surface areas throughout.

A short bike ride/stroll and you will find yourself on the valley trail which will take you around the great lakes of Whistler!

Great stay. Host ensured we arrived okay with no issues. Place was clean and well furnished. Took about ten minutes to drive to Blackcomb Village each day and that was during the busy time. We parked in lot 1 because it was cheaper than taking the bus roundtrip for the four of us. Would stay there again.

Not very clean, poor lighting (not enough, mix of warm and bright white bulbs in the same fixture), polyester sheets, no cable tv although it was advertised to have cable. We had to clean the tv remotes, toaster, counters before using. One of those places where the middle is clean but not the edges. You could smell what other people were cooking in a different unit from the master bedroom. Hot tub, pool and parking were convenient.

The condo is professionally cleaned after every stay, and cleanliness is a top priority for us. While we’re sorry to hear that certain areas did not meet your expectations, this is not consistent with our cleaning standards or typical guest feedback. The unit does have cable TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and Netflix available, as advertised. If there were any difficulties accessing these services during your stay, we would have been happy to help had we been contacted. Lighting preferences can be subjective, and we will review this for consistency. As for cooking odors, the condo is a top-floor end unit with the master bedroom adjacent to the stairwell rather than another residence. This has not been a concern raised by any other guest. We’re glad you found the pool, hot tub, and parking convenient, and we appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.

Amazing stay to ski

The apartment is very nice and cozy. Beds were very comfortable, even the pull out mattress. Janice was great with communication and was always available. The location is about 5 minutes drive to the resort. Overall great experience and will go back.

The condo was as advertised. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need if you want to eat in. The building is dated however the condo is in great shape and the pool and hot tub were great. Really good communication with the owner. I would definitely stay here again.

Good Place

Condo is located couple of minutes driving from Whistler Village, which worked out well for us. Owner was responsive and helpful with questions. This place has well equipped kitchen. We were planning on using jacuzzi after intense day of biking, but in the evening, we found “Spa closed for cleaning” sign, which was disappointing. Also, worth noting that jacuzzi and pool are only accessible until 10 PM. Overall, it’s a spacious condo, which we would recommend. Would stay again.

Great location

I booked this place for my husband and our 4 children. We had a fantastic ski experience. We were well looked after and even got a text from Janice to see how things were going. I really appreciated all the extras in the house. She provided toilet paper, paper towel, even soap for the dishwasher and washing machine. Also the fridge was stalked with all those little things that nobody wants to buy for just one week. The hot tub and pool were a huge hit for our family and we used it daily. Super easy to access with beautiful views of the slopes. The location is a short walk to the village. Had my kids been a few years older we would have walked in for dinners and possibly skiing. There is a shuttle stop just outside this property which is another great option. Overall - a perfect location and wonderful property with comfortable beds and all the extras. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect visit - very comfy condo!

Everything went smoothly from the start. Janice was in contact by txt upon our arrival in Whistler and also a few times during our 12 day stay. Janice checked in with us mid stay and suggested some activities to avoid weekend crowds. A lovely welcome gift was left for us as well. The instructions regarding the supermarket and parking there and also at Creekside proved most helpful. We actually parked at lot 7 most days - ski in/ski out. The condo has plenty of storage (that was NOT filled with extra bedding) and it was lovely and warm even though heating was turned off during the day. The toiletries were handy - bringing shampoo from the other side of the world is a nuisance. It was a nice 25 min walk to gondola. Good exercise after a day skiing. Happy to recommend this place to family and friends or to visit again.

Cozy home away from home just outside Whistler Village

Overall we were quite happy with our stay here. It's apparent that the owners also use this unit from time-to-time as there are nice personal touches around. This makes it feel more like home. If I were to book my vacation again, I might have looked for something that was actually in Whistler village because we spent all of our time there, but for those who aren't spending all their time in the Village or don't mind walking the 30 minutes (or paying $10/day to park in the Village), then this is a good option. Pros * Well-stocked kitchen with all the basic cookware and spices you need to cook * Comfortably sleeps a family of 4 with individual beds for the two kids * Tall ceilings makes the unit feel bigger than it actually is * Keyless entry -- all you have to do is remember the key codes * In-unit laundry with detergent * Ping pong table, pool, and hot tub in the common area (the unit had their own ping pong paddles and balls, which was a nice touch) Cons * Not directly in Whistler Village (it's a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to Whistler park) * It's a slightly older unit/building though the unit itself was clean * Parking is very tight -- we had a rental Dodge Challenger and we were able to make do, but it takes patience to get in/out of the garage

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. There are two trails at bottom of the hill that lead to the village. The one closest to the highway should only take 15-20 minutes. The other one goes around the golf course and does take 30 min. The secure underground parking in our complex is included in your rental but in the village, most hotels charge their guests for parking, up to 30.00/night. So paying 10.00 to park your car in the village is actually very reasonable. Our complex is located in a peaceful area, you won't hear the noise and traffic of the village. It is very close to Alta Lake where you can enjoy the outdoors. We are glad that you were happy with your stay overall.

Excellent Condo in Whistler

We had a great experience staying here. The property was even nicer than it looked in the photos. It is in a great location just a 10-15 minute walk into Whistler village. Our kids loved playing in the outdoor pool.

Our family enjoyed staying in this comfortable condo. The location was quiet and relaxing, and Janice communicated with us as soon as we arrived. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The hot tub/pool were very nice—our kids loved swimming while it was snowing! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful condo

Great spacious, cozy, quiet condo that has everything you need. Close access to Alta lake. Away from the busy village but only a 15 min walk on a nice path to get there. Lovey heated pool and hot tub. Good secured parking. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Great location with kids

We had everything that we needed. Pool was awesome. Would have been even better if there were umbrellas to get some shade during the heat . We also would have appreciated AC, at least a portable unit in the bedroom. Host made lots of effort to communicate in a timely manner which was very much appreciated.

We have spent many wonderful holidays in Whistler, winters, springs and summers. We are a very athletic family and have enjoyed all of the following at Whistler: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, cycling, mountain biking, swimming in the fresh water lakes, beach volleyball at Rainbow Beach, hiking with the Peak to Peak experience, canoeing, rollerblading and zip-lining. We live in Burnaby, B.C. and we especially love the proximity of Whistler.

Why they chose this property

We've spent many seasons enjoying Whistler. When we were looking to purchase a property, we were very impressed with the Ironwood. It is very well maintained, spacious and the unit is beautifully renovated. We enjoy a place that has room to move! It's a very short drive to the village or an easy bike ride on the Valley trail in the summer.

What makes this property unique

The swimming pool is large with a fabulous panoramic view. Ironwood has all the amenities, just a short drive away. So, it is close to the hussle and bussle of Whistler, but peacefully removed from it.
