SeaOats cottage is a gracious getaway for two in scenic Port Aransas on Mustang Island. This beautiful newly constructed home was built as a Vacation Rental. Located on the 'quiet end' of 11th Street in Port Aransas, the SeaOats sits just below the historic Chapel on the Dunes, which is the oldest consecrated church in Port Aransas, now popular for private weddings on Mustang Island.

Proud owner Jim Atwill has planned each area of the construction with your comfort and luxury in mind. All finishes in this home are high end, from the red oak flooring to the Travertine tile spacious shower to the Texas pink granite on the counter tops. Finest stainless steel appliances appoint the kitchen. Make no mistake, there is no accommodation in Port Aransas that comes close to the comforts you will feel in the SeaOats Cottage. Sleeping for 2 adults only, relax, get away, rekindle, rejuvenate, and relive those past vacations when times were slower. No children or pets.

Pleasant little cottage

The cottage is located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and grocery. It's a charming place in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The structure itself has all of the modern conveniences with a simple thoughtful design. It's obviously well maintained and cleaned. We enjoyed our stay here.

My new husband and I loved our stay! The cottage was perfect for a honeymoon couple. It had every amenity we could possibly want. The owner was amazing and even gifted us with an apron upon leaving. We will definitely be returning someday.

Perfect wedding getaway

Located right next to the Chapel in the Dunes that we rented for our private ceremony. The house is in a cozy quiet part of Port A, but so close to everything. We were provided with a cell # to contact for any questions & they promptly answered. We were provided with some amazing coffee and a bottle of champagne !

Why they chose this property

Newly constructed as the first Accessory Dwelling Unit in Port Aransas, the design plays off the Katrina cottage plan and was designed by the owner's brother, an artist in Santa Fe and the plans were drawn by a well known Santa Fe designer.

What makes this property unique

Local craftsmen added their expertise to this design which makes good use of every inch of the space in this gorgeous cottage. From the appliances, fixtures, lighting and furnishings each piece fits perfectly in place and the whole of the creation is much greater than the unique parts that went into it. Not fussy, but uniquely high end finishes from the red oak flooring, granite counter tops, luxurious linens, no detail has been overlooked.
