Loved our stay here! I grew up visiting Port A and remember the Double Barr from my childhood, so it was fun to be able to finally book a stay! Super nice and responsive staff, clean renovated cabins, GREAT location! I have been recommending this place to my friends since we got back.

Everything you need

Everything you need for a long weekend at the beach. Pretty quiet, close to gift shops and several places to eat. Cottage has Everything you need to prepare meals. Clean up was easy. Would love to stay again

The most important amenity to us was the A/C. The cottage had an A/C unit in every room. There was space to relax. The bed was comfortable. The blanket was soft and nice. The shower had good pressure. The fridge was a good size for our needs; which wasn't much because we were at the beach or out and about most of the time. We were very close to the beach and shops and dining options. The only downside was the unpaved end of the driveway at the end. We did notice there was a different cottage that had a little fenced in area between two cottages.

Our stay at the Double Barr Cabin 10 was great. The location is awesome, cabin was clean, cute and comfortable. It is pet and family friendly. The host responds very quickly when you ask questions. We will stay here again.
