Cozy cabin in town and walking distance to everything. WiFi didn't work for us during our stay. Host had good communication and stopped by to make sure we had everything.

The location of the cabin cannot be beat. It is within walking distance of food, shopping and many activities. The cabin is historic, but definitely needed to be cleaner. The floors were dirty with bits of food in the rooms, the shower curtain was moldy and smelled like mildew. Other than that, the check-in and check-out process was easy, the beds were comfortable, and the location was within walking distance to just about everything.

This place was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, right smack in the middle of Talkeetna, one of the cabins with a lot of history and personality but also has everything you need. The original cabin has been added onto sometime recently for extra room. Very comfortable. Even has high quality all-cotton sheets! Could not have been happier. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beaver cabin. I would suggest that the owners put curtains in the back bedroom. With the sun going down so late it was difficult to sleep. It was cute, solid, quiet. We enjoyed all the games in the family room. Also, the Wi-Fi was not reliable, except standing at the back door. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I am so glad that your family enjoyed your visit with us and played games together. We spent many nights doing the same. ♥️ Your suggestion is excellent and we will be fixing the window issue tomorrow. I am sorry that it was too bright to sleep. The sun does stay up extremely late.

Kitchen was a bit deficient if you’re planning on cooking. The location was totally 5 star. Rustic cabin it is as advertised. Our group loves that type of home though so we fit right in. Had a minor issue late in the day, which the host very quickly resolved for us. Much appreciated that.

Super cute and rustic cabin - well equipped and walking distance to town. Exactly as described. Second bedroom has three twin beds, so it’s perfect for a family of up to 5. Nice selection of games. We appreciated the coffee and tea provided and ready to brew!

Beaver's cabin was built by my grandfather in 1950 and is where my mom grew up as a young girl. We have a second cabin built by my grandfather's friend in 1928 which we also rent out. We love sharing these cabins and all the history of Talkeetna.

What makes this property unique

These cabins were built by the hands of our family and friends. There is a rich, decades-long family history in this property.
