House was not maintained full with spider webs, curtains with scotch tapes, the water coming out of the shower was smelling like rotten eggs, pool was dirty and filter not working, hot tub was not working. The host was very unpleasant to deal with and never solved any issue risen up and had no clue how to fix anything. Showed up at 8 pm when we called him since 10:00am to fix the pool and the tub. Complete waste of money and time.

We are disappointed by this review, as it does not reflect the documented events that occurred during this stay. Our exterior security cameras recorded guests entering the restricted pool equipment area without authorization and tampering with the equipment. Shortly afterward, we received a message claiming the pool filter was not working. I immediately drove approximately four hours from Long Island to inspect the property, restored the pool system, and confirmed it was operating. I also personally verified that running water was available throughout the home, contrary to the claim that the house lost water. The hot tub was fully operational before check-in. During the stay, guests made unauthorized changes to the pool and hot tub systems, including adding untreated garden hose water directly into the pool without a hose filter or our authorization, disrupting the pool chemistry and requiring professional service before the next guests arrived. After checkout, we documented occupancy exceeding the 16-person maximum, supported by security footage showing a mini bus and three SUVs arriving at the property. We also documented damage to a coffee table, multiple vertical blinds, excessive garbage requiring additional cleaning, and other issues requiring repairs. All evidence, including photos, CCTV footage, invoices, and repair records, has been submitted through the appropriate resolution process. Based on our documented experience, we would not host this guest again.
