Welcome to Seaside Cottage OBX on North Carolina's Outer Banks! Enjoy the beautiful beaches of Corolla, amenities of the Currituck Club community, ocean and sound views throughout the 5+ mile neighborhood surrounding the Currituck Club golf course and close proximity to shops/restaurants. The Currituck Club is a private, gated community. The resort style neighborhood has something for every vacationer-many amenities to keep families active or peace and serenity to just relax. Seaside Cottage OBX and Corolla are dog friendly. Guests in the Currituck Club may enjoy:

*Beach access with bathrooms, outdoor showers, golf cart & vehicle parking and snack bar. Umbrella & beach chair rentals are also available. Inquire at the Snack Shack for rental information. Please note, snack shack and beach equipment rentals at our beach access is in season only.
*Use of the Currituck Club amenities such as the pools and beach trolley on check in/check out days.

The Currituck Club staff plan a variety of free and low cost activities throughout the year. Examples include outdoor yoga, corn hole tournaments, pool parties, crafts, 5K's and special events. We send guest several guides to learn more about local restaurants, activities, and shopping. BEACH ACCESS: The community beach access is the SOUTH ACCESS across the street from the Currituck Club's south entrance. This is on Yaupon Drive. Guests can take the trolley (in season) or drive themselves to the beach. The drive takes about 5 minutes from my driveway. The trolley stop is right outside our front door. Kids love to ride the trolley and the trip through the community will give you a tour of the picturesque environment and coastal homes.

There are several other beach access locations throughout Corolla. All are marked with blue signs along Rt 12. Access locations with parking include:
-Sailfish
-Bonito Street
-Perch Street
-Sturgeon
-Shad Street
-Corolla Village Road (includes handicapped access ramp and restrooms.
-North Beach Access (4WD required)

Our Home;
Seaside Cottage is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home located on a small, family friendly street with cul-de-sacs on both ends. The furnishings are coastal style, comfortable, and continuously updated. The home design is an open floorplan with a two story great room. The dining area opens out to outdoor dining and the pool. There is a KING bedroom on the main floor and leads out to the back deck. This is a nice option for those who can't manage stairs or may want some privacy from the rest of the family. A full bath is on the first floor. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs; a large, cathedral ceiling primary bedroom with a king size bed, a queen bedroom, and a third bedroom with a double + twin. The queen bedroom and master bedroom share access to a large wrap around sun deck.

Lower back deck features a dining area, seating to enjoy a cocktail, and a rope style swing to relax and read a book. Pool & hot tub with lounge chairs are on the ground level. Trees surrounding our yard provide shade and a wooded view for the lower level.

**Beds are made & bath towel set( 1 towel, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth) is provided for 9 guests. **

**Please note that our community HOA does not permit boats, trailers, or RV’s to be parked within the community(including driveways). Please contact us before planning to bring any of these. We do not provide offsite parking but can refer you to options to check out yourself. **

Seaside Cottage is owned by a family with kids and this home is all about kids. The garage is loaded with beach toys, bikes, and a multigame table. *Although the pool table is in the garage photo, it was broken in the late fall and replaced with a ping pong table. There are bins of toys, movies, books, and games for all age levels. Additional amenities include: Cable tv(Disney Channel,HGTV etc..), wifi, smart tv’s, and a gas grill.

We do allow 2 dogs with owner approval and pet fee. ***Due to our homeowner insurance, we can not host animals with previous bite history and can not accept these breeds. Dobermans,Rottweilers,Akitas,American Staffordshire Terrior (Pit Bull), attack dogs, wolf hybrids or any mix thereof. Please message us about your family(including all pets), and ask any questions about the house location/beach access/ amenities, etc.. before sending a booking request with payment. We are happy to answer questions to aid in vacation planning.

Our cottage has a private pool(open early May to mid October) and a hot tub. The pool area offers sunny spots as well as trees for shade. There are two covered decks on the first floor, and one large wrap around upper level sundeck(shared by the master and queen bedroom). The Hammocks community pool is a short walk away. Seaside Cottage is located on a quiet, flat street that has cul-de-sacs at both ends.

The owners, Rick and Melissa, will be happy to help you plan your trip to Corolla. We have vacationed in the area for many years before deciding to purchase our cottage. We can recommend local tips as well as help plan day trips to other areas of the Outer Banks.
