It was a very good experience that we had here. Very safe neighborhood and quite, good cafes near by and close to french quarter like we wanted. We will deffinatley be coming back next time.

Excellent location perfect for our needs

It was a very short walk to the Algiers ferry where we were able to go for the French quarter. The house itself was clean and perfect everything was stocked well. There was a washer and dryer which worked out really well, the two bedrooms fit our needs perfectly in the bathroom was large and bright. A full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven we’re available to us although we never cooked in the apartment. It is the full size of the house the whole bottom floor, which was very roomy. The TV was large and new and there was a large dining room table . You had to walk next to the building down a narrow pathway but that was not hard. The only thing that I would have to say that needs to be taken care of in this place which is otherwise perfect where the mattresses on the beds. Not comfortable at all. New mattresses were put on the beds we definitely would return there again. By the way do yourself a favor and download the app on your smart phone for the transportation for New Orleans, we purchased a day pass which was good for the ferry, street cars, and the buses for only seven dollars a day.

Great stay, great host!

We had a wonderful stay at Bruce's house! This is the entire lower section of the house (the upper section is a separate rental) and it was very spacious and clean. We had 6 adults in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Had all the basics to have a comfortable stay and the neighborhood was very cute and safe.

The ferry is a very short walk away and was fast and easy to use. Our group ended up preferring to use the ferry over Uber/Lyft because it was so convenient.

Bruce was a great host and always returned my calls quickly and worked with us to make our stay as nice as possible.

We would love to stay here again in the future! Thanks Bruce!

-Quiet safe neighborhood - for anyone unsure about where to stay try the "quiet" side on the other side of the river from the French Quarter (easy ferry crossing within 2 blocks)
