Authentic New Orleans feel all around inside and out. Very quiet neighborhood for early mornings and evenings sitting on the porch. Great coffee and kitchen had everything I needed. Great shower with plenty of hot water and I found the bed to be quite comfortable. Will definitely stay again if and when I return to New Orleans!
House was great! The host was excellent and kept in touch with us the entire time. Perfect stay my wife and I.

Price was a nice neat well kept house, you can tell it had some rich history. Unfortunately, I never saw the river. If there was anything negative to say, I would have to say, as a professional Firefighter, a secondary means of the egress would have been nice. Also, the shower was acceptable. However, the water could’ve been a little warmer. Other than those two things I really enjoyed my stay.
Cute duplex next to the Mississippi River. The cat in the adjacent apartment was a pleasant and friendly surprise. Easy walk over the bridge into the great Bywater neighborhood.
Easy check in. Home was clean and neat. Host was very responsive. Home was well equipped. The view was not what I expected. It’s close to the downtown area

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Don't freak out with the run-down neighborhood. The apartment is old but very well kept up. It is labeled as "Watching the River Flow" but there is no sight of a river. This was a good rental for the money. Patricia has it very well supplied with everything to make our stay comfortable. The one glitch was a missed message to me telling how to check in, otherwise communication was good. It's about a 20 minute drive to Downtown.
This is a lovely little apartment / duplex in a quiet neighborhood. A nice place when you want to get away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the French Quarter. Although we didn't cook, it looked as if there were plenty of dishes and cookware, in addition to a full size stove, fridge and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water. We would definitely stay here again when visiting NOLA.The only reason I didn't give this a perfect score was because the listing says "watching the river flow....". You cannot see the river from this property, although it is very close by, within walking distance. Instead, you must go to the end of the block (a couple of houses down), then climb up the levee. Not a big deal, but a 'need to know' if you're there for river views.
Patricia left little notes about different things such as potential freeze weather, letting us know if something is out of order, just little quality of life things. She was so responsive and helpful whenever we had any type of issue. I stayed for the Rockin 1000 event and it was beyond the expression of words, the perfect spot to unwind and relax after long days. Yeah downtown is awesome, but being right next to Bywater is probably the best decision I could’ve made, always 11/10 experiences. Highly highly recommend this place, 10 stars if possible
This is our 2nd time staying at this location that’s perfectly settled next to the Mississippi River. Conveniently located close to everything exciting, we look forward to our next visit.
We really enjoyed the week! Patricia was accommodating and the location was excellent for easy trips into the French quarter and beyond. Would stay again!
Loved staying here! Perfect location! Quiet and safe neighborhood! Everything was clean and everything we could possibly need was provided for us! Definitely plan to come back!

I'm so glad you had a good time. Hope to see you again!!
We have stayed here before, it is always quiet, relaxing and a great place. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants one of our favorites being Frady's fantastic food. We found a bakery called Bywater Bakery, it has the best Chantilly cake. Great placesvto visit and see the culture, here in bywater.
