This home has alot of space and it's clean, comfortable and convenient. We loved spending the mornings having coffee on the screened in patio. The private pool and pool house was fabulous. Loved watching the geese, ducks and cranes come and go on the lake. The host was awesome! I highly recommend this rental!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House had everything we needed, hosts communicated with us well, property location was quiet and kiddos loved the pool. Location was close enough to all of our planned activities (Gulf Island Waterpark & Gulfport Sportsplex) and far enough to have the country feel we wanted. Would definitely recommend to others!

This home was even better in person. Very roomy and clean. The screened in back porch was excellent for playing games. Beds were comfortable and clean. All round good experience. I would highly recommend. I do think there needs to be a brighter light bulb in the bathroom between the two bedrooms!

We’ve rented many VRBO’s over the years, and this is definitely the top on our list. It was so clean, very stocked with all the necessities needed for our stay(kitchen had everything you would need), and the pool was amazing. We enjoyed the ducks that would come and go through the yard to get to the pond. Loved the area close enough to things, but yet you get the country living area. 10//10 would recommend to anyone. We will definitely be coming back.

Hometown Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay. Very warm, inviting and well maintained. We felt at home right away. Our host was very responsive and answered all our questions. We spent the majority of our time using the three outside living places which made our time there relaxing and enjoyable. The pool area is spectacular. We only wish the weather had been a little nicer so we could have used that area more. The pond brings in geese, ducks and other waterfowl. We were even visited by a couple of chickens! If you are looking for a place that is private and just a short distance from Gulfport, this is an excellent option. We highly recommend Hometown Hideaway.

Perfect spot or my family to enjoy a visit with my daughter, her husband, and granddaughter. Screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and to watch the ducks waddle to the pond!

The house is amazing and so is the pool! The outside pool area was great having the tv, fridge, bathroom, and seating all in one place without having to run inside all the time. The house was centrally located to everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. The owner was extremely helpful and communicated well. I would recommend this place to anyone with or without kids.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and located in a safe, quiet area. Our family especially enjoyed spending time at the lake and pool.We were in town for the Gulfport Global World Series, and the location was perfect—peaceful with a country feel, yet still close to the ballpark, restaurants, shopping, and everything we needed.The owner was friendly, responsive, and readily available for communication throughout our stay, which made everything even easier.This was a great place for our baseball family to relax between games. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very nice, well put together property. Very peaceful, relaxing at the table in the screened patio, drinking our coffee and watching the sun come up over the pool and lake with the geese flying in over the house and landing on the lake. Very nice and you couldn't find a better host committed to your satisfaction and making sure that you have the experience you are looking for.

The house and property was very beautiful! The pool was the place to be. When a few questions arose there was no problem with communication. The kids loved it. It was relaxing for adults not having to worry about the kids. Come stay and see for yourself you wouldn't regret it.
