The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The porch was the best spot in the house.I would say if you're bringing a taller truck, watch out for the limbs. Overall we would come back!

This was our 3rd time staying at TR. Cant get enough of the place (stayed a total of 33 days). Its always clean, private, relaxing, etc...to say this place is 5 star is an understatement. If you are looking for a place to stay while on the gulf coast. This is the place you want.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I love that you "get" the place. Yes, it is a special place. The house is over 100 years old with beautiful oak trees that are much older than that. It is not a beach house, it is a house my grandfather built to be with his friends. It has been through Camille and Katrina. I am so happy you love it like my family does. This is the place you want if you want to experience the peace and calm. You like to sit on the porch and listen to the birds, walk on the beach and admire the water and the sea birds. The entire property is over 2 acres so yes, there is a bit of a walk to the beach through the front lawn. I am gutted when people don't love it and would rather be at a condo in Destin. Come back again soon.

Tina's cabin in Pass Christian gave us another way to spell perfect.The ambiance, the ancient oaks, the beautiful fenced lawns, the huge screened in patio, the historical vibes.We loved the pace, our wonderful dogs loved the place, and we can't wait to stay there again and kick back and relax

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here along with our pups. They loved the very large nice fenced in yard House was very clean and appropriately furnished. The screened porch is huge and a very relaxing area. All the surrounding towns are charming with excellent restaurants . We enjoyed walks on the beach ! We will return in the future!

Our stay was good, did have some issues getting into the house & needing to reach out to the host. Our review is not to be petty; there were some issues, a vine growing into the house, the cabinet doors were repaired by tape, dining room chair back was broken, most doors inside do not latch close, only could access the lanai through bedroom or outside..the door from kitchen/living room area was put on incorrectly so we couldn’t use the door; latch was on wrong side, it says 4 guests but 2 would be appropriate. This is a rustic home but it doesn’t mean that some of the issues we had didn’t need to be addressed which we know we were not first ones to mention any of these issues, mattress not comfortable, home is pet friendly & there is plenty of space to run around for them, some landscaping could have been done trees were hanging so low it scraped the truck, there is only one tv in house which remotes didn’t work well & could only access by back of tv so if you plan to relax at the end of the evening it may not happen, most seating inside & out were made of wicker that were damaged in areas. We did visit in the off season so it was very quiet for the most part but there is a train that runs through every couple of hours which was not mentioned in any of the other reviews or description of home, the pool was very nice and so was location. We are not usually complainers but if it were us wanting to read reviews we want honesty at all times.
