About this space
Oh, Buoy!
This is a 1950s classic boho beach cabin situated just across the street from the beach access. It has been recently updated with new pine floors, interior finishes, and furniture. The cabin features an open floor plan including a living room TV area, an open kitchen with a breakfast nook. There are two bedrooms with one king bed and one queen bed, making it great for couples or small families. Additionally, it is pet-friendly so you can bring your furry friend along.
The space
The beach bungalow has been lovingly renovated but maintains it”s historic charm. The common areas are spacious and comfortable. The front porch has comfy chairs for enjoying the ocean breezes.

The house sleeps 4 in well appointed bedrooms complete with new mattresses- 1 king and 1 queen bed.

There is wifi in the home and tv has a Roku device so you can access your Netflix, Amazon and Hulu etc. channels.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, oven, microwave and toaster oven and coffee maker for cooking meals at home.

Friendly pets are welcome however there is a $75 pet fee.

Parking is not an issue as there is a driveway and plenty of parking.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and yard.

Overall a very cute and comfortable beach cottage. Very easy access to the beach, easy check in and check out process, was percent for a girls weekend!

We had a great weekend here! Blue buoy is very kid and dog friendly, which we appreciated. We loved the little extras that were above and beyond, like the real pine wood floor, cute little breakfast nook with bench, and well-stocked kitchen with unusual and attractive dishes and silverware. There is a nice yard to walk the dog. Driveway was spacious and accessibility easy. There was plentiful AC in all rooms and outdoor hot water showers. Great location with walking distance to restaurants and pier and one street over from the beach. We would definitely return here!

This was a great place for a couple. Much roomier inside than you'd think from the outside. Love the very short walk to the beach. Host was very helpful and quick to reply. I'm not sure I'd stay with more than two people as there is only one very tiny bathroom. That being said, we'd stay again.

It was a nice place, older with dated furniture. Biggest complaint and it’s a big one, we were left 4 towels and wash clothes for 4 people for 2 days. No washer available. Not really ok fur a beach rental. A lot of people take a couple of showers a day whilst the beach.

The location is truly 5 stars. It’s easy to walk to the beach and just a short stroll to a couple restaurants. I can’t give the overall experience a full 5 stars because of an issue I had our first night. When we arrived after a long travel day, the beds were made but had no sheets. All the linens and towels were in a bag, and we did not discover this until we were ready to go to sleep. Having to strip both beds and make them up that late was stressful. There was no mention in the listing. If this is standard practice, it should be clearly stated so guests can plan. The bathroom could use some upgrades or a deep cleaning. Overall, the location is fantastic, but a few small but important details kept this from being a perfect stay.
