Neil was great . He was the wonder of this property. All you want is to have communication and feel welcome and taken care of .I was .I brought my family up and between the bunk beds for the kids, the air conditioning, and the finished basement. It was extremely relaxing.Neil really went out of his way to make sure it was clean and ready. He was gracious enough to extend his contact and when I had a question about check out procedure or the house itself. He got back to me right away. He’s very polite too.I’d recommend this to anyone with a family. Or for someone that wants a quiet place that’s clean where everything is working too.Oh- and walking distance to the pool was a HUGE plus. You can’t always find that in a rental property.Go ahead and book a stay here , it was worth it .- Dan

Met our needs and would book again

Overall my family enjoyed our stay. The owner was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions and kept us informed about his plowing as a snowstorm approached. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and close enough to center North Conway. If skiing at Atitash you can’t get much closer. We did experience a few very minor issues: the hot water heater was not large enough for us to fill the upstairs bathtub 1/4 of the way for baths for my kids. It also was not able to keep the shower upstairs warm for very long. The downstairs shower didn’t have the same issue, likely because it has a low flow shower head. The house is also somewhat dark without much overhead lighting but this didn’t impact our stay all that much. The house was stocked with ample dry firewood both at the wood stove and in the basement. The wood stove also heats the first and second floors more than enough, to the point baseboard electric heat was almost never needed. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The first floor shower didn’t have any shelves or hooks so finding places for soap and washcloths was difficult. All in all the issues we experienced were minor and didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment.

Homeowner's Response: "Thank you for your feedback. Based on this, we discovered that the hot water tank was failing. We replaced it and increased the size by 25%. We couldn't agree with you more regarding lighting. We have added a lot of additional overhead lights (Kitchen, Living room, two bedrooms, and basement.) We have also added a shower caddy in the 1st-floor bath. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope you can return someday to see all these upgrades as well as many others being made."

Family Fun

Property was beautiful, clean plenty of room for all 7 children and 5 adults. One thing missing (air conditioning) it was in the 90's all three days we were there. Now knowing about no air conditioning I would check for heat waves before booking our next vacation. Story Land was great too, also very HOT.

Holiday Weekend Stay

The property was the perfect size for our family gathering with all the necessary amenities and conveniently located in the heart of the White Mtns. It's a townhouse/duplex set up, which escaped my initial review, but worked out fine and didn't impact our overall experience; and hopefully the same for the folks on the other side.

The condo was beautiful, clean, very well maintained, and had all the necessary homey things to make a comfortable stay. We love Crawford hills, and this condo was perfect for our group. The owners responded quickly to any questions and were really helpful. Everything was just as it’s written and in the pictures. We will be back for SURE.

Pretty close to perfect!

This place was pretty close to perfect for us. So many positive things about it. We had 10 people and there was so much room for everyone to have their own space and their own bed which can be hard to find sometimes with a rental. The finished basement with a second living room was a huge bonus for our large group. What made this place even better was its location. It's a short distance to so many activities. This made it so easy with small children. My only suggestions would be maybe a new grill for the outside as the one there, the legs were very wobbly as we used it and made the grill a little unstable. The other would be an A/C unit upstairs. A couple of the days that we stayed, the temps were in the 90s and the upstairs got unbearably hot. Even so, this place was still fantastic and the host was very responsive. I would definitely love to rent this property again!

Highly recommend!

My family and I in town for a funeral found solace and warmth in our accommodations. The property had everything we needed and more than adequate space. And dealing with the owner was a pleasure. I’m hoping to return under better personal circumstances. I highly recommend this quaint cabin!

Great Place and Grteat Location

We have rented this house for 2 years now and we plan to come back again. The basement family room was perfect for the 6 kids, and the 5 bedrooms provided more than enough room. We skied daily at Attitash which is maybe a 5 minute drive away. The owner has been great and quick to respond to any small questions we may have had, but everything else was easy to find and follow. Thanks again for a great rental Neil.

Great Location!

This home had plenty of space for our two families. The location is great for a summer get away - with the community pool just a short walk away, and all of our day adventures close by (hiking, river tubing, ATVs). We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the private deck most days. Very relaxing! We appreciated the friendly host and good communication as well. Thank you again.

Great Rustic Cabin

This home was very clean with some modern updates with a rustic vibe. Plenty of room for 10-12 to sleep. Check-in/check-out was very easy. The pool nearby is also very clean and the overall atmosphere was quiet and friendly. You can sit on the deck and hear and see the babbling brook just a few feet away. This is NOT a single family home as it looks in the picture. It is attached to another townhome but the set up provides plenty of privacy. My only complaint, relatively speaking, is that the overall home has little airflow. The bedrooms were stuffy, one so much that we could not use, but the fans provided were very helpful in the rooms that had windows that could open. This would most certainly be less of a problem in the fall/winter than the summer. I would also recommend an updated Grill and outdoor furniture. Overall a nice place.

Fantastic Rental

We stayed this past weekend with a group of 9 of us and there was so much room for everyone to spread out! The house has everything you could need and the location is awesome with quick access to North Conway, hiking, and skiing! We had a small issue where we got locked out of one of the rooms and Neil responded so quickly to help us out. We are going back in May and can't wait to return!

Four friends and I had a great girls weekend away at this Bartlett home. It felt like “home” from the moment we walked in. A wrap around porch, wood stoves, cozy bedrooms, window seat to read at, big enough kitchen for us to cook together and spacious living room to share a bottle of wine and laugh till we cried.
