Hi, I'm Adrienne. My husband and I bought this house recently to follow our long-time dream of living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest..particularly Sisters, Oregon. This has always been a favorite vacation spot for us, as we are both avid outdoorsmen, enjoying fly-fishing, hiking and biking together. I grew up a 'farm girl' in upstate New York, which started my love for wildlife and the great outdoors. We are both dog lovers. I will be living on site in the small apartment above the garage and working in town. So I'll be a stone's throw away if you have any problems, but at the same time you will have complete privacy in the main house. We hope you enjoy vacationing here in Sisters as we always have.
Norman & Adrienne Graziano purchased this house in 2013
When we shopped for a house, Sisters was one of our top picks of places to relocate. With its charm and small town atmosphere, scenic beauty and recreational activities...what's not to love. Sisters has so much to offer on its own, but close enough to Bend that you can enjoy the busy city too. Fishing, birdwatching, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking are all within arms reach.
We chose this property for its quiet, friendly neighborhood and closeness to town...yet rural feel. We wanted to live in a small town, but one with culture and all the basic amenities and we wanted to live in walking distance so as not to have to drive all the time. We wanted some elbow room but not a lot of land (its on 1/3 rd acre). We love the tall trees too and the little creek running through the front yard.
This was our first time staying in Sisters and we wanted some place walking distance to downtown,,yet private and a little green. We also needed a pet friendly place with a fenced yard. This little house had everything we were looking for, plus, the owner lives nearby so any problems or concerns were easy to address. Besides the excellent location, the front yard was beautifully landscaped with mature pines, a water feature, lots of green grass...in short, it was people and doggie paradise. The inside was clean and comfortable with lots of room. A couple of the bedrooms were a tad small, but still comfortable, although we found we spent most of our free time outside on the porch or the deck.
I would recommend this place without reservation...but you might want to make one anyway, lol.
Seven of us traveled from Texas, California & Oregon to celebrate our 50 years of friendship for two glorious days in Sisters. All the positive reviews were spot on. Perfect location, beautiful landscaping, fun town, owners that are there but not there, plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, great restaurants & shoppers' paradise. Owners were responsive both before and during our stay. Two thumbs up for this home...I'd put up 3 if I could!
My friend and I stayed here this weekend for a girls getaway. We just wanted to be able to relax, chat, take some walks, and enjoy the views. It was perfect. We were able to walk to every meal very easily (and there is nearby grocery stores to make use of the kitchen). Every morning started with Sisters Coffee which we brought back and enjoyed while on the porch enjoying the creek in the front yard. SO PEACEFUL. We walked to a wonderful spot to watch the sunset and look at the mountains all day. Only took a couple minutes.
Also spent a day in Bend, which was fantastic.
The house itself was the perfect size - not too small, not too big. Comfortable to stay in. Has everything you need. Really hope to come back again. The owner was very nice and I never worried about needing anything (or about her watching over us from her apartment, if that's something you would worry about...).
We have stayed in this lovely home for the last three Septembers and always have the best experience. The home accommodates our group of six well. We like to prepare meals, and Adrienne has the kitchen well stocked and has added an item or two at our request (Thanks, Adrienne!) The setting is beautiful, and the location is perfect for walking into Sisters. It's a plus that the hosts live in the apartment above the garage. They never intrude on their guests in the house, but are handy if you need something. We will be back again next September!
We had a great time at this house. It was within walking distance of the Sisters Coffee Company and the main drag in Sisters. Adrienne was so nice and easy to work with and she was very accomodating. Our dogs and 5 year old son loved the yard with the creek flowing through the middle. The house had everything we needed for our stay and we'd definitely come stay again. We highly recommend it!
We had six nights in this cozy house with a serene, water feature filled garden. Location
was excellent for walking into town and it was quiet. A plus having A/C since a couple days were pretty warm. Property as advertised. Pleasant afternoons on the deck and porch with a gentle breeze in the many trees surrounding the house. Very relaxing. Owner friendly and helpful.
