Located just 10 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs, this home blends Old World charm with modern convenience. Whether you are skiing Sunlight or Aspen, fishing Gold Medal waters, or soaking in world-class hot springs, our villa is your tranquil basecamp.
The Space
Cross a quaint bridge over a bubbling creek to enter your private sanctuary, surrounded by massive spruce and weeping willow trees.
Gather & Dine: The recently remodeled kitchen features sleek counters, new appliances, and a reverse-osmosis water filtration system. Enjoy meals at the dining table or dine al fresco on the spacious creekside patio.
Relax & Unwind: The second-level living space features an electric fireplace, a vintage 1935 Mathushek piano, and a balcony overlooking the water. A unique spiral staircase leads to the third-floor loft.
Outdoor Living: From morning coffee in the main floor alcove to stargazing on the towering third-floor balcony, the villa offers multiple spots to listen to the creek flow.
Bed & Bath Configuration
Main Floor: Primary Bedroom (Queen) with en-suite bath (Shower) + Powder Room.
Second Level: Bedroom 2 (Full Bed) + Hall Bath (Tub & Shower/Laundry access).
Third Level: Bedroom 3 (Queen), Sitting Area (Full Futon + Twin Roll-away), and workspace.
Guest Transparency & Important Notes
We want your stay to be perfect, so please read these unique considerations for our mountain home:
Stairs: Access to the third floor is via a spiral staircase. Please use caution, especially with children.
Water System: We are on well water. While triple-filtered, UV-sterilized, and safe for bathing, seasonal runoff (April–June) can cause harmless discoloration.
Drink Up: We provide a dedicated Reverse Osmosis tap at the kitchen sink and fridge for pristine drinking water.
Conservation: For groups of 4+, please limit concurrent high-water usage (long showers, laundry) to protect the well pressure.
Climate Control: Like many mountain homes, there is no Central A/C. The home stays cool due to the shaded canyon and creek breeze; fans are provided.
Connectivity: Cell service drops off near the house. However, Wi-Fi is available for calling and streaming.
Mountain Wildlife: We are in nature! While we have professional monthly pest control, insects (ants, beetles) or small field mice may occasionally find their way inside. No refunds are provided for critter sightings.
Driveway: The driveway is narrow. Trailers and campers are not permitted. ATVs must only be used in designated areas, not on neighborhood roads.
Safety: A fence surrounds the patio, but please supervise children near the creek at all times.
