Tämä mökki on viihdyttäjän paratiisi! Jätetty vuoren huipulle, sitten alas yksityiseen laaksoon omena-alueella, "Cliffhanger" metsässä on todellinen helmi! Voit uida ulkouima-altaassa, jossa on aito jalokiviominaisuus ja yövuoroiset LED-valot, lampi, vesiputous ja maisemoitu puutarha, jossa on alkuperäisiä kasveja ja taidetta. Valtava wrap ympärillä katettu kuisti ja suuri kannella nauttia ulkona elää suurimman osan vuodesta lukuun ottamatta talvikuukausina. Täysin varusteltu keittiö, kaasuliesi ja ruostumattomat laitteet. Kuljettaessasi Cliffhangerille kokeilet "Apple Country", koska Henderson County on Pohjois-Carolinan suurin omenoita tuottava maakunta ja kasvaa 65 prosenttia valtion omenoista. Tänään Henderson County ja Edneyville asuvat noin 200 apple viljelijöille. Henderson Countyssä on noin 5000 hehtaaria omenapuita istutettuina. Altaan sadonkorjuukausi alkaa elokuun lopusta lokakuun loppuun.

Viinin harrastajat Cliffhanger sijaitsee vain muutaman minuutin päässä kahdesta paikallisesta "perheomisteisesta" viinitilasta. Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards ja Burntshirt Vineyards, molemmat perheomisteinen, jossa maisteluhuoneita ja viiniä ostettavissa. Molemmissa viinitiloissa on panoraamanäkymät Blue Ridge -vuorille. Felt very private even though there are other cabins in the neighborhood. Was super quiet and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. The pool was fantastic! It was so relaxing and peaceful. Just what we needed for a weekend get away. The beds were super comfy (the 2nd bedroom bed was really tall!), living area was open and the deck was perfect for hanging out. What a gem!!! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin!!

Great secluded location with great outdoor spaces.

Spent a long weekend with family for my grandsons graduation. It was a great spot to spend the time and be with family. Unique and fun pool, lots of outdoor areas.

Beautiful property and location, Very relaxing vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We especially loved how beautiful the covered deck is, where we had most of our meals and played table-top games, and relaxed in the hammock. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, too! A rare treat :)

Tranquility!

My husband, mother, and I stayed along with our dog. The cabin was very clean and welcoming when we got there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms clean. I do have to say that the switchbacks coming up to the cabin were an adjustment coming from Florida where everything is pretty flat and straight! Once we got used to them though, it wasn't too bad. We were able to use the pool a few times, We grilled most of the time, and enjoyed the porch daily watching the rain come in and listened to the storms in the background. We got to see the Biltmore for the first time, but were unable to see Chimney Rock as it was too hot for my mom who is 89 years old. We also rented a pontoon boat for a couple of hours on Lake Lure and enjoyed that very much. The beds were so comfortable! We all slept very well and it was a great rest from the grind. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it!

The Good and The Bad

First, the good… the cabin and property appeared to be exactly what we were seeking for a relaxing family vacation, along with the celebration of our daughter’s college graduation. The location was very secluded and the cabin and pool were well furnished and decorated. The large wraparound deck was awesome, providing for some great rest and relaxation. The 1st two days were great. And then…the third night we awoke to a mouse crawling on our blanket. Upon further inspection of the cabin, we saw two mice sitting on top of the stove and numerous large, black ants throughout. Ants were no surprise, given the wooded location, but certainly couldn’t deal with the mice. We found four round mouse traps behind the armoire in the second bedroom, directly below the trap door leading under the main bathroom tub. Each trap was covered in dust and dog hair, leading me to believe that 1) there was obviously a known infestation and where the mice were coming from, and 2) the traps were old and hadn’t been replaced with new ones in quite some time. By now, it was 3:30 in the morning and we decided to cut our losses and drive the nine hour trip back to Ohio. Before we left, I sent Michelle a message via VRBO, letting her know of the situation and our decision to leave. She called us a couple hours later and apologized, agreeing to refund us for the remaining four nights of the week. Lesson learned…ask plenty of questions and inspect upon arrival.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway!!!

This cabin is great! Kitchen is better stocked than most, which was nice! Everything was clean and comfortable - especially the master bedroom! Michelle was a perfect host. Would definitely stay here again, the living area was so nice to relax in and the wrap around porch surrounded my nothing but windows was perfect to come back to after a whole day playing in and around the area.

Disappointed

Michelle was excellent to respond to anything we needed. She gave us very good information on local things to do, and wineries and eateries. The cabin was clean but it is much more rustic than the pictures reveal. I don't mind rustic but getting to the location was not easy. It is quite a drive in and out, steep, curved, rough. We didn't have a mountain view and we thought we would. That said, the deck was wonderful to sit out on. The furniture was not nice like in the pictures. Maybe someone switched them out because Michelle was surprised.The biggest problem for us was finding a place for our dog to go and do her business. The pool was nice. I would recommend this cabin if you are ok with the things I stated.

Great Place To Stay And Relax!

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Cliffhanger. I knew it was going to be great as soon as we began our way down the winding road leading to the house. The home was super clean and had an amazing wrap around deck. We sat outside at night and listened to the sounds of the woods, while my son swam in the pool. We didn't have cellphone service at the home as Michelle notes, but we easily connected to her Wi-Fi so it was no big deal. There was plenty of attractions within 30 minutes of the home to keep us busy all day. Michelle checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was very nice. I would definitely recommend the Cliffhanger and hope to visit again!

Comfortable mountain getaway

We rented this property for a weeklong stay to celebrate our niece’s birthday. It’s easy to find and in a very private area, it feels secluded and serene. The living room area is spacious and has comfortable couches and a leather reclining chair. The kitchen space was small but appliances were great. There were a few things that stuck out to us; there was a lot of clutter everywhere which made some of the rooms, especially the kitchen feel very cramped. Some of the dressers and cabinets had random things placed in them. There were several light bulbs out, broken decor , and a musty smell in one of the bedrooms. There was a dead animal outside one of the doors that had been becoming one with nature for quite some time. We used towels on the chairs outside because the cushions are well worn and a little dirty. The one screen door was broken so we had to be very careful with the dogs. There are no visible smoke detectors in any of the rooms. The pool and garden area was incredibly overgrown with a broken fire pit, a dented patio warmer and a broken patio warmer. We did not end up bringing our niece here for her birthday and instead went out, the outdoor area was too run down. Overall we did enjoy our stay but this place needs some TLC. Property owner was responsive, personable and very helpful. She provided recommendations for attractions in the area and gave us the opportunity to turn the pool heater on. This place needs some improvements and then it would be perfect.

Perfect Stay

This was an amazing week in the perfect spot for what we needed. It’s so pretty and peaceful here and exactly what you need if you’re looking to get away from the busy life. Michelle was a great host who kept in touch with us throughout the week to make sure we were ok. Hope to return again soon!!

Magical Getaway in the Mountains

We met up with friends and stayed two nights at the Cliffhanger. The property has stellar views of the outdoors and is easy driving distance to local wineries and the craft brew scene in Hendersonville. We had great communication with the property manager/owner (Michelle). She went above and beyond to offer recommendations to the wineries, as well as other local attractions. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with an assortment of dishes and pots/pans. A+++

Amazing birthday getaway

For my 34th birthday I decided to rent a cabin in the mountains for a getaway with the family. This place was perfect for us and our 2 little girls! Beautiful, comfortable house with a great wrap around porch. In December it was too chilly for the pool area but it looked like the perfect place to chill out during the summer! There's a look out tower on the property that gives a great view for sunrises/sunsets and overall this was a great cabin to relax and unwind! Would be happy to visit again! 😁

The Cliffhanger is in a special place. There are nice hiking trails around the cabin. In the spring the mountain laurel, flower all over the mountain, and the mica glistens like gold along the trails. Come back after a hike and cool off in the swimming pool, or take in the mountain fresh air from the deck. Take a nap in the hammock or relax with a book. It's very quiet and peaceful here.

Very quiet, sits back of the road surrounded by woods with view of mountain from covered deck. Huge wrap around porch even nice when it rains to sit outside with a book or just to take in the sights and sounds of nature. Area to walk your pet just behind the pool.
