Secure gated parking. 5 minutes to all parts of town, French Quarter, Uptown, Central Business District. Lots of restaurants and shops on Magazine St. There are a lot of antique shops within this area that you can walk to. Also a one block walk to the streetcar line to downtown and the french quarter. Three blocks from the world famous blind pelican bar and rest. Secure and gated,,,,,,If your looking for some fun things to do ,,,,check out "that sounds cool" a local company that provides unique adventures for visitors and locals year round.

Transportation: Less than 2 blocks to the street car which will take you Downtown or Uptown. or private car service.

Large 3 bedroom 2 and a half bath with lots of entertaining space! Each bedroom either has one king and 2 Queen size beds. There is also a sofa for someone to sleep on as well. Everything is brand new, all the beds, mattresses, etc. There is of course a dining room and living room area. Also an open kitchen area with seating.

The building is newly renovated with gated off street parking. Your stay will includes croissants coffee and juice every morning,,, 1,900 sqft each side. There is also a back yard patio for cocktails!

This property is located so well to everything. Walking distance to magazine shops restaurants and streetcar line. It is also newly renovated and all new linens beds ect. It's a short cab ride to the french quarter and 20 minutes from the airport.

It's great for families and small groups. Very new orleans neighborhood. Plus its a beautiful place with all the amenites of home! Super secure,,,,,,all gated.

Great location, walk to Magazine St. Garden District

Tastefully decorated beautiful kitchen + living + dining room + half-bath on 2nd floor with 3rd floor having 3 roomy bedrooms, 2 full baths. Great for a family. Lovely hosts immediately fixed any minor problems that arose. This location is actually walkable to the French Quarter (40 min. -- see note about streetcar, below) and a much more convenient 5 min. walk to the Garden District's Magazine Street with its less-crowded, classy, and quirky shops and restaurants. In middle of a safe neighborhood south of St. Charles and north of Magazine, with a spacious park 1/2 block away. Also 2 short blocks from 24 hour Walgreens for convenience. St. Charles-line streetcar stops in front of Walgreens, but schedule is inconvenient and irregular, and don't plan on it having any seats available for the city-bound direction if it ever does decide to show up. But you CAN get an outbound ride back home from the French Quarter since the trains empty out on Canal St. for the return trip.

Beautiful house, awesome stay

What a beautiful house! My girlfriends and I came to town to celebrate my birthday. 6 of us in all and there was more than enough room. Karen was fantastic! Met us at the house at check in with bagels with cream cheese, bananas and coffee with condiments for our stay. She provided us with a plethora of information about the area. Location was perfect as it is so close to the streetcar which got us everywhere we wanted to go but also in a peaceful neighborhood for when we were back to rest. I definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting New Orleans!

Wonderful owners & easy to work with!

This place was amazing! Centrally located to shopping and the cable cars. The cable car stop was only 2 blocks away, and the hop on hop off bus stop was about 4-6 blocks. Parking was available on site and the driveway was gated. This was a safe neighborhood to walk in as well, with a wonderful grocery store just a few blocks away, and a pharmacy across the street from the market. Everything is close and easily accessible (even close to a hospital). The house was very well equipped with plenty of dishes, cookware/utensils as well as towels and blankets- and the beds were comfortable. The owners have taken great care to ensure that their guests have everything they need, they even had extra shampoos, hairdryers, and laundry soap available. All the bedrooms and showers were upstairs, so if you have trouble walking stairs, this isn't the place for you. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back again!

We will definitely return to this home!! There are 2 side-by-side units available with slightly different sleeping arrangements, so make sure you confirm the unit/beds before you arrive.
