My wife and I bought this house in 2013. We have always loved the location that this house resides in and we couldn't resist the opportunity to buy in one of Tahoes' most charming neighborhoods. This neighborhood has so much history its unbelievable. Celebrity's like Sammy Davis Jr. Marilyn Monroe, Howard Hughes and the like have either stayed or owned homes in the area.
Ryan purchased this House in 2013
Why Ryan chose Crystal Bay
The property is impeccably clean and well maintained. It features hardwood floors throughout the entire home. It pairs old fashion comfort with new world charm. Not to be redundant but the location is stellar. It has to mentioned again and again. It's walking distance to beaches, trails, restaurants, bars, music, casino's and more.

Nice and Comfortable!
We really enjoyed staying in Ryan's Lake Tahoe home. Ryan was a great host and was always quick with a response to our questions - which was much appreciated. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. Heated floors - 'nuff said! There was a nice backyard which our girls (ages 8 and 9) loved to explore. We were surprised to find extra lightning cables to help charge our iPads. The location was great - it was just a short drive to Incline Village and about a 30 minute drive to Squaw Valley.
There were a few minor issues, most of which Ryan notified us beforehand about. The gas fireplace in the living room wasn't working. Ryan provided a small portable heater - about the size of a pancake. He said it would heat the room just fine... but looking at it, you'd think it wouldn't be able to heat a broom closet. However, the little guy was able to heat up the downstairs quite nicely! So if you see the little white space heater out during your visit, don't mock it - it deserves your respect! Some of the house documentation was a little outdated, but as we mentioned, Ryan is great with e-mails and he was able to answer our questions right away.
Given the opportunity, we'd definitely stay here again next year. Thanks Ryan!
Glad you enjoyed yourself. Like you said that little heater is quite the trooper but I’m going up today in fact to install a much larger wall heater. Might as well have multiple heat options for redundant capability. I’ll update the home binder as well! Happy new year Steven!
Really nice, well kept and perfect size for a couple and/or small family with two kids. Nothing bad to say about the cabin. The only thing that caught me by surprise was how close it was to the casino parking garage. But stayed a week and loved it.
Our family of four (two boys 12 and 15) really enjoyed the house. They liked the space upstairs despite how warm it was. The Xbox was sadly a big draw.
I liked the spacious bathroom. Our 12 year old said the shower was the best ever....partly to do with the water pressure. I am allergic to many different products so I appreciated the fact that the shampoo and conditioner were good quality. There is a hair drier, Q-tips, and bandaids.
Our 15 year old was impressed by the fact that there is Apple TV. The internet was slow but only a problem when streaming movies. It was nice to have a few good family games to choose from too.
The fire station across the street was comforting and quite. Overall a great house in a good central location.
Visting North Lake Tahoe - do come here!
My kids (10years old & 8 years old) and I spent five FANTASTIC days in this lovely house. Its very well located to visit the great Tahoe beaches. The house is very well taken care of and extremely well decorated. The kids loved sleeping upstairs - that was part of the adventure! We certainly would recommend this to our best friends and when in Tahoe again will make this my first option! Thank you Ryan.
Awesome cabin for groups with a great location.
We stayed at this cabin for a week and it was awesome. The cabin is located super close to King's beach which is a cute little town with lots of charm. The cabin itself is close (walkable) to a beautiful beach. We went almost everyday. It is also really close to Northstar if you go in the winter. Here is what we loved specifically: The cabin was spotless when we arrived. Seriously, so clean. We have a two year old so we spent a lot of time at the actual house. It's got a very well appointed kitchen and grill. It has all of the amenities that you need to make any meal. There is plenty of space for 4-6 people. The house is decorated with care, and it feels like a place you want to spend time in. Also, the owner Ryan was really responsive when I called to ask about an extra propane tank, and about the recycling. This family really cares about making a great expirience for guests.
Great, bigger than expected
Would definitely stay here again, the house was very well kept and clean. Almost all kitchen tools and equipment were there already to make meals instead of going out for dinner. It definitely was cozy and had a nice environment. The lake was a short walk away.
