The Space:

Located on Seabrook Island, 809 Treeloft Cottage is perfect for a family vacation. This freestanding cottage has two bedrooms, two baths, and a loft that can be used for a third bedroom. Enjoy beautiful fairway views and Seabrook's unspoiled beach, only 600 yards away. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room, four flatscreen TVs, and a deck. Stay connected during your vacation with free WiFi. Guests of Seabrook Island may enjoy a remarkable variety of amenities including two private golf courses, a tennis center, and fine dining. Also available to guests of the island is Seabrook's Equestrian Center and miles of riding trails through the island and on the beach.

Important Things to Know:

This property has Seabrook Island Club Access for an additional fee. For $55/day or $315/week, you may purchase access to The Beach Club as well as other Seabrook Island Club amenities such as golf, racquet sports, and club dining which require additional payment. When you book a stay with us, we will send you instructions for how to pre-register.

Note that The Beach Club is seasonal and generally operates between mid-March and the end of October.

Additionally, you will have access to The Lake House Fitness Center where use of the unheated outdoor pool is free. For $15/day at The Lake House, there is also an indoor fitness pool and gym. Fitness classes are available for an extra fee.

Beautiful and Restful

We totally loved and enjoyed your home and would love to come back!!!! The location overlooking the golf course was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Such a beautiful island with so much to see and do!

We got to see the Turtle Patrol rescue and release 2 baby turtles. The dolphins strand feeding, and a white deer feeding by the roadside. Our Treelodt Villa was very nice, but we tried to spend as little time indoors as possible!

Just some TLC needed

This property was fine as far as location and size. It was a little dusty and it is in need of some TLC. The shower needs some updating and the laminate on the cabinets is coming apart. The appliances and TVs worked fine.

The tree loft cottage was extremely clean, well-appointed, and nicely decorated. It was the perfect size for our family and puppies. The property owner also left us a manual with everything to know for staying in the property, as well as things to do on both Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. It was a fantastic experience! We love vacationing here and will definitely book through Beachwalker rentals again!

Relaxing vacation

This is our 3rd Seabrook Island trip. The property is in a great location to the beach and convenient to all parts of the island! The house was simple but had what we needed and accommodated our family of 5. It did feel kind of dirty(old furniture/pillows), our sheets felt sandy on the night we arrived, there was a roof leak 2 nights when it rained, we had to buy batteries for dead remotes, the can opener was broken, the outdoor sand shower didn’t work(which would have been nice to have to keep the inside cleaner) and you have to bring all your own bikes, sand toys, chairs, etc. whereas most of the rentals on the island provide some of those basics. Nonetheless, our family had a great week in Seabrook.

Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy Seabrook Island and this property had all of the necessities our family of 4 needed, and the best part was it was a short bike ride to the beach. The only complaint we would have is that it wasn't very clean. The kitchen was a bit dirty when we arrived and there were several roaches to be killed during the week. For the price, I had hoped it would have been in better shape.

The cottage is surrounded by beautiful trees. One can face the golf course with the forest in the background. We were able to see the albino deer which is a rear sight. The inside of the cottage is decorated tastefully with beach decor. The owners have tried to think of everything so that one is comfortable. It has 2 sets of twin beds if you have children. We like it so much we are staying for 5 more months.

Reviewer Comments: We did not purchase insurance as it never occurred to us that a natural disaster would fall in the same category with a cancellation because of illness or a demanding job. Even when it was believed that there might be mandatory evacuation, we were told we were responsible for even the days when we couldn't even be at the condo.

Close to the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice time because we could go to the beach, take walks and bike ride. Staying in the villa is ok, as long as one likes small spaces. But remember It was built in the 70's and picture other things built in that time period. To update some of the wrongs would take quite a bit of money, so band aids are put on things without really fixing things. Like the air blows out black particles all the time and the cabinets are Formica and it is peeling off the cabinets. The windows are all foggy inside and you can not really enjoy the view.

Reviewer Comments: WE love Seabrook, the Beach Club, the bike riding, etc. WE have stayed there before This year we brought our dog so reserved based on pet friendly places. We loved where it was- however, wanted to be closer to the Beach Club so we could let our dog out and easier for our handicapped son to get back and forth to the pool. However, we were told nothing was available there. With all that we loved about the vacation- when we arrived we were shocked at how dirty is was. We took into account it was a pet friendly home, however, we killed about 30 spiders within the first 20 minutes- There are cobwebs all over the house, in all of the corners, the shades were full of them- pulled back covers to the bed and a HUGE spider crawled out. We asked that they come and clean the cob webs and spider webs- cleaning crew came out that morning but brushed some of them off and the remnants stayed on the ground. Wasn't impressed. WE will stay at Seabrook again and we will look at Beachwalker again as they were very kind to change us to a Sun- Sun rental when our plans changed. However, was disappointed in the cleanliness of this home.
