Grindstone Lake Lodge -Views-Family Reunion Ready

Perched high above Grindstone Lake with panoramic mountain and lake views, Grindstone Lake Lodge is Ruidoso’s premier luxury retreat. This 8-bedroom, 8-bath masterpiece accommodates up to 20 guests and offers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and natural beauty.

The main living area features soaring ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, plush seating, and wall-to-wall windows framing the lake. A gourmet kitchen includes a six-burner gas cooktop, built-in oven and microwave, and a butler’s pantry with a full coffee bar. Each bedroom features a king bed, en suite bath, and smart TV; four bedrooms include an extra twin bed.

Downstairs, the spacious game room offers pool table, arcade games, and a large TV, opening to an expansive deck overlooking the lake. The home is multi-level with stairs connecting both floors and permanently installed stair gates for safety.

A nearby trail leads to Grindstone Lake Recreation Area for hiking, kayaking, and fishing (trail is unlit and some distance from the home—daylight use only). Midtown Ruidoso, Inn of the Mountain Gods, and Ski Apache are all within easy reach on paved, accessible roads.

Noise monitoring and exterior driveway camera systems help ensure peaceful enjoyment and property safety.
Absolutely no parties or events permitted. Bagging and taking trash to the nearby beige dumpsters is standard throughout Ruidoso, where curbside service is unavailable. Please close bear latches securely.

Welcome to Grindstone Lake Lodge. We kindly ask that all guests review and respect the following house rules to ensure a comfortable stay and compliance with Village of Ruidoso standards.

OCCUPANCY & CONDUCT
-Maximum occupancy: 20, including adults and children. Over-occupancy is not permitted.
-No parties or events
-Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM Please be mindful that sound carries in mountain communities. Outdoor noise, music, and conversations must remain at a respectful level at all times.
-Children must NEVER be left unattended around decks or the hot tub

PARKING
- 5 vehicles max. No trailers, RVs, or campers permitted

PET POLICY
- NO PETS PERMITTED Unauthorized pets will result in additional cleaning fees and potential removal without refund.

SMOKING & FIRE SAFETY
-No smoking or vaping inside the home
-Outdoor smoking is permitted but subject to Fire Danger Restrictions. NEVER dispose of cigarettes or cigars on the ground, driveway, or off decks
-Fire tables are prohibited for short-term rentals in the Village of Ruidoso

HOME CARE
-Please do not bring food or colored beverages into bedrooms to protect linens
-Do not move furniture
-Hot tubs, fireplaces, and grills must be used responsibly and according to posted instructions
-Children must never use the hot tub without direct adult supervision

TRASH DISPOSAL
– IMPORTANT: We do not have curbside trash pickup. Guests are required to dispose of all food and trash prior to departure.
-All residents and guests must bag and take trash to the public beige dumpsters located along the roadways throughout Ruidoso. Failure to remove food and trash from the property may result in a minimum $150 disposal fee.
