Mining at Hiddenite Gem Mines, hiking at Rocky Face Recreational Park, The Yellow Deli, boating and fishing on Lake Hickory, and so many more attractions in close proximity. The house was comfortable, clean and had lovely extra touches all throughout the house. The property around it was well kept and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a wonderful place to stay on a beautiful property. The amenities were available if needed and they installed a motion light at the front door that was so thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay and their helpful list of stores and places to eat was very much appreciated.

Location was very good for the reason I was visiting. It was very nice having a garage for use. The rooms were spacious, plenty of space for everyone. The house is vintage which is not a problem except it had an odor that I bought some room spray to try and mask. Couldn't get hit water in the kitchen sink, not even luke warm?? The Yard and driveway space was great for children's play and extra space for parking. Host was very considerate to leave mosquito burning coils on the porch for our use. They were needed. I enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to nature. Beds were all very comfortable and the central air conditioner worked very well to keep the house cool. Lighting in the rooms , except the bathroom are low. But workable. Overall it accommodated my needs and I would consider staying again.

Hi Lisa, thank you for the review! I’m sorry you couldn’t figure out the hot water for the kitchen. I just mopped this morning and the water very hot from the kitchen. You must turn the knob to the right for hot water and to the left for cold water. I’m sorry you had trouble with this! Hope your stay was enjoyable!
