For the past 11 years this property has been lovingly rented by guests who have now relocated permanently to Southern California, so we are thrilled to offer it for the Palm Springs Season for the first time in over a decade.

A life saver

We stayed for a month and a half while we were having our house renovated. It was wonderful a stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating.Right next to the condo is the pool, and we had a very private courtyard. What was especially nice was how cool and energy efficient the condo was. And an added benefit was we got to have our puppy with us. Highly recommend

Great location

Literally just steps away from pool and hot tub which was important to us. Charles was there to greet us when we arrived and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our month long stay. The kitchen had 3 new appliances which the fridge provided all the ice and filtered water we could use. The owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly. We had a great time! Convenient, comfy and spacious

Great stay. Property was as represented. Well stocked kitchen. Appliances worked well. Beds in master and second bedroom were comfortable. Bath and hand towels new. Patio is lovely to sit and enjoy the sun, barbecue or watch the stars. Having carport is nice. Great location because it is close to restaurants, downtown and the airport. Unit is also in close proximity to a community pool. A few days before we checked out that pool was closed for renovation so we just used the other pools located on the property. They were lovely and easy walk to access them,

Wonderful Palm Springs Condo with Excellent Location

We loved our one month's stay at Charles and Michael's beautiful three bedroom condo. This is perhaps the best located units in the Sandalwood complex: steps to the pool and the tennis court. The overall feel of the unit has a great mid-century modern flair: it's so clean and comfortable and spacious, and one has a sense of being in a resort. A bonus is the gorgeous large patio that has flowering plants frequented by hummingbirds (such a joy to watch!), and the complex is very quiet. For our needs, we appreciated having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. And because this was a working retreat for us, we utilized the desk area. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, as it is well-equipped and has large windows that overlook the fabulous patio area. We felt right at home. We loved the location too, which was in close proximity to shops, grocery store, restaurants, and movie theaters; as well, it is close to downtown Palm Springs. Charles and Michael are lovely hosts, and they have thought of everything to make their guests welcome, from toiletry supplies to an abundance of linens, to the thoughtful welcome gift when we arrived. We will definitely seek to book their condo again when we return to Palm Springs. Thanks so much for our stay!

Very nice/quiet

Very nice villa. neighborhood pool is right outside of the door literally 15 feet away. Owners are very easy to communicate with. I would saty here again if i had the opportunity!

We really enjoyed simply moving in to Charles and Michaels beautiful condo in our favourite Palm Springs. We really enjoyed the privacy of the atrium while entertaining our visiting friends and family. The beds were super comfy and the bedding was high quality. The location of the pool was simply steps from the home. Really handy as we could still have wifi there. The kitchen was well equipped with every you need. The grocery store is only a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient as we only had a vehicle for part of our stay. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone wanting to get away.

Exactly what we needed

From the ease of dealing with Charles on initial contact through to the final booking of the condo, all was seamless and every effort was made to ensure our needs were met. Meeting with us upon arrival as well as being easily available throughout our stay brought a peace of mind to this rental. The location was great with quick access to the pool, tennis court and grocery store - including easily getting to and from the airport! We loved the outside living area and spent much time outside - as long as the weather wasn't too hot! This had everything we needed and appreciated the comfort of the condo. So quiet - it was nice to walk the neighborhood at night. And a last thought - we were a little concerned about being too close to the airport. I can assure anyone thinking the same thing that this turned out not to be an issue at all. No noise problems. All good. Thanks guys for a great stay!!!

Family Relaxation!

What a wonderful place to spend the holidays! We relaxed by the pool, played tennis (rackets and balls a plenty were supplied) daily and took walks around the neighborhood. The grocery was a short walk away making it easy for our family including kids, parents and grandma to access whatever we needed. Charles and Michael were great hosts as always. We used Lyft and American cab to shuttle into town when we could be pulled away from relaxing making it easy to forego a rental car. Did I mention how spacious this beautifully decorated home is....stay here!

Great stay at a great place.

We spent the month of October at this clean, comfortable, well stocked, perfectly located condo. The unit provided everything, and more than we could have ever needed. We especially appreciated the tennis rackets and the pool floats. The location to the pool and the tennis courts could not have been better. Charles and Michael were more than willling to work with our schedule and communicated during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone heading to Palm Springs.

Great Place!

We rented this condo for July and August while we settled my mother-in-law who is moving here from the East Coast. Condo was very clean, even by her exacting standards, and she had everything she could need to help make this first part of her transition easy. Charles and Michael were very accommodating when we needed to extend her stay by a few days. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone coming to Palm Springs.

Great way to see Palm Springs!

We had a great first weekend in Palm Springs, using this comfortable and spacious place as our landing pad. Close to museums, restaurants, and natural sites, we had a blast. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and just enjoying the weather on the patio. Loads of kitchen space/supplies, towels, and everything we needed (and then some). And plenty of room for a few friends, we look forward to returning with more folks!

Fabulous Stay!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this property with our two small dogs. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the place is very large and feels like a house. The additional large and beautifully landscaped outdoor space makes this the perfect rental place. Both the condo and the whole complex were perfect for us. The entire complex has large grassy areas with manicured walkways that made walking our dogs a relaxing pleasure. The pool is right there too for easy access. Charles and Michael are lovely hosts with great taste in decorating. We would most definitely stay here again. In fact, if we are renting in Palm Springs again, we won't rent anywhere else!

Great Palm Springs Condo/Great Owners

Wonderful unit in convenient location just steps from the pool/spa and tennis court. The highlight of the unit is a patio where you can entertain around a fire pit or recline on comfortable furniture and watch hummingbirds and butterflies fly in and out against a mountain backdrop. The indoors is spacious and comfy. The owners were welcoming and responsive. They have tried to anticipate your needs from the well-stocked kitchen to the wifi and video technology. If we needed anything, they were immediately responsive. We highly recommend this unit and we will be back!

Fine Palm Springs Indoor/Outdoor Living

This well laid out condo, decorated with contemporary paint colors and furniture, gave my husband and me a month to become adjusted to our new hometown while waiting for our condo to close escrow. The unit has a private, spacious walled patio with ample furniture to entertain with cocktails and a table that seats six. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare simple to gourmet meals. We were pleased that the linen closet had ample supplies, bedding, jumbo bath towels and colorful pool towels. One of the three pools on the property is steps from the unit. Downtown Palm Springs is a five minute drive from the condo, grocery shopping, banking, gym choices are in the neighborhood with other choices five to ten minutes drive.

Great place in Palm Springs

My wife , me and our dog loved the condo. The patio was great with fire pit, BBQ and comfortable chairs, just the place to read a great book in the warm afternoon sun. The dog door exit to the patio made it like home for our dog. The pool and hot tub are just a few steps from the front door. Closest condo to the pool. The Tv and wifi worked just fine. The printer was great to have as my wife needed it some work. All rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were nice with no complaints. The location is near the airport which made it easy to met friends. Downtown is close and we did walk there a few times. Stores are nearby and easy to get too. Lemon trees and hummingbirds in the backyard. We were there for a month and would love to do it again.

As good as home.

With my husband and two dogs we stayed at Charles and Michael's condo for 6 weeks in September and October. It was not just a vacation rental it felt like home. They had everything covered from king size bed to fully equipped kitchen. The wonderful private patio with gas fire pit and grill was perfect for evening dining. It is just steps to the pool, kept at 84 degrees all year and the tennis court. With the Sunbus service you can be in downtown in minutes without the hassle of parking. A major grocery store is just a block away. You won't be disappointed and Charles and Michael were terrific hosts.

Comfortable condo with everything you need and more

We enjoyed a great long weekend reuniting with friends at Charles and Michael's condo. It was so clean, comfortable, near plenty of amenities, and had everything we could possible need right down to the wine opener, dryer sheets, and artisan salt. I learned our last day in Palm Springs that Uber is alive and well in town, so you could easily get away with not renting a car if you wanted to spend most of your time in Palm Springs just relaxing and wandering around town. Our group had lots of adventures planned, so we rented a car and were glad there was a parking spot right next to the unit that was easy to get in and out of. We spent a whole day exploring Joshua Tree National Park, which is only an hour away and is a spectacular sight. And we drove up to ride the tram which is an incredible feat of engineering and very fun to ride, but definitely a daytime activity (we made the mistake of going at sunset and it was too dark to wander around the wilderness!). A couple of my friends noted that the airplane noise bothered them a bit, but I'm from Seattle where planes are overhead all day long, so I barely noticed. I also really appreciated being that close to the airport as it took us less than ten minutes to get there and less than 15 to get through security and into our gate. While we were there, the nearby pool/spa area was under maintenance, so we made our evening walks to the next nearest pool which was fine (just make sure to remember the pool code if that happens to you!). We still had the whole area to ourselves day and night with the exception of one friendly visitor who was fun to chat with and knew a lot of great sites to recommend. The outdoor seating areas were nice, big and comfortable. We made good use of the firepit and basically turned the outdoor courtyard into our primary living room. We loved watching the abundant hummingbird activity and seeing plenty of stars! The kitchen has everything you need, but there were too many good restaurants to check out for us to spend any time cooking. Check out Farm for brunch and Balisage Bistro for dinner! We'll definitely be back as soon as we can!

Great value!

Our month-long stay at Sandalwood and the responsiveness from Charles (and Michael) exceeded our expectations. The 2 bedrooms and den were perfect for the much-needed work setup we needed and the occasional guest who came to visit. The courtyard and near-by pool and tennis court were also more beautiful than the photos. Overall the entire Sagewood complex was lush and conveniently located. We just found the wind and airplane noise a bit much some days but all in all, a great stay and amazing value!

So lucky to find this piece of paradise

So lucky to have this place for the month of March.Quite location very private pool , hot tub and tennis courts about 50 ft. from your front door .Close to town grocery shopping over the back wall with Dairy Queen, Macdonalds Mex. food and Dollar tree to.Nice safe area for evening walks.The people are all friendly. The unit is clean and roomy great outdoor patio with gas firepit nic clean BBQ .when we arrived Charles and Michael were there to greet us with a gift basket. and any info we needed. So sorry we cannot have it next year but do have a place in the complex.If it comes available we will fight to get it haha.Had 1 small problem and Charles was ther to fix it in 10 mins.Thanks again Charles and Michael Fred and Marie from Victoria B.C.

Great spot for a short or long stay

This was our third extended stay in Palm Springs, but first at Sandalwood; the owners, unit, amenities, and complex exceeded our expectations. The personal greeting and welcome basket on our arrival set the tone for our stay! We were impressed with how clean and well-equipped the home is, and the owners were available and responsive to any question or concern we had. The owners provide pool toys, tennis raquets and balls, plush pool towels, etc. which make it easy to fully enjoy the facilities. Our dog made good use of the pet door, and she enjoyed the private patio as much as we did. This unit is very close to the pool and spa, and to the single tennis court (which is rarely used but has a well-maintained surface). It is within easy walking distance to grocery shops, a gym, and many services. It is also adjacent to a safe and dedicated bike trail, and within easy biking distance to the tennis courts at Ruth Hardy Park (for those who want to pick up a game of tennis). We like to walk and many Palm Springs neighbourhoods don't have sidewalks.... this one does, so it felt safe to walk even in the evening when the streets are dark.

Peaceful, friendly and well appointed

We were delighted by the standard of this home and the attention to detail shown by the owners. The owners met us on arrival and even accommodated our last minute request to arrive a day early. They provided a nice touch with a welcome basket which helped us through our first night and late arrival, even providing a bag of treats for our dogs. This is an excellent place for pets with a safely enclosed patio area, and lots of surrounding green space for walks. The community and more generally Palm Springs are very welcoming to pets. The home is well appointed with nice quality furniture, comfortable, new looking beds, tableware, linens etc. fully tiled throughout it is clean and easy to keep clean. The swimming pool is virtually your own private pool, we never met anyone in there and we swam every day at various times. A very pleasant patio with BBQ, lots of seating, umbrellas and a fire pit for cooler evenings. A lemon tree, oregano and lots of humming birds makes for a very pleasant environment. Extremely quiet and safe location, but just a very short drive or longish walk from the Palm Springs action. Walking distance to a couple of grocery stores, some fast food chains and a pharmacy. Very close to the movie colony for those interested in looking at some of these lovely homes. Any requests to the owners, however minor were promptly dealt with. Neighbours in the community are pleasant and friendly. We would definitely consider returning for future visits to the area.

With Donald Wexler architecture, lush greenways and three pools, the Sagewood property impressed us from the first time we saw it. The beautifully landscaped courtyard and perfectly laid Saltillo tiles inside make the place feel warm and inviting.
