This 1959 Butterfly Alexander, in Racquet Club Estates, was designed by renowned architect William Krisel and has been obsessively restored to it's original vision of space age optimism. The artist, Nat Reed, brings the same bright palette and sense of fun to the decor that is on display in his retro modern inspired art. Nostalgically themed bedrooms tickle your imagination. Sweeping clerestories and a wall of south facing glass bring the outside in, flooding the house with sunlight and warmth. Great deal for the price

Overall our stay was good. We had a few hiccups along the way but the management team was awesome and address all of the concerns immediately. The house is decorated super cute, if you love mid century decor,this is your place. Brand new barbecue, house has pool floats, the backyard offered some shade under the trees which was nice on a hot weekend. The one thing to note is the bedrooms have windows without coverings, so the rooms are very bright early in the morning. If you're a morning person this won't be an issue.

The inside and especially outside were impressive. Interior design is bright and unique. Living room was great hang out space. The fire pit was an added bonus.

truth in advertising

Booked Googie Ranch for a sisters trip. There are 3 of us and the layout was perfect. Getting up every morning and taking in the magnificent view of not only the landscaping and pool, but the lovely mountains through all the glass across the back of the house was a delight. Ease of booking; and the people at 365 Rentals were very nice (Nick, Jerry etc.) All the "basics" were available at the rental on arrival. Kitchen well-stocked. All the lamps were in working order. A book that gave instructions for operation of TV, music, fire pit, etc. was very helpful, as well as suggestions for restaurants, distance to grocery stores (although we did have a walk-thru on arrival.) Everything can't be perfect- right? Its important for a review to be honest. The pool was not warm enough to suit us, and having a pool, I know this is an "adjustment". Even with "wind" from the mountains- well, this must be taken into consideration. You want warm water! When we called our request was taken care of immediately. So, basically, this isn't really a "negative" except that it cost us some pool time (for which we had paid for), so it does bear a mention. Overall an excellent property; and very nice people to deal with. And, lastly, thank you Matt for the beautiful artwork!!!

The Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance requires the following:

No more than 1 car per bedroom is allowed per home. 3 car maximum.
