The Space:

This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo is located in the sought-after Sunset Cottages community on Okaloosa Island. Keep in mind this rental is on the second floor up one flight of stairs. The open-concept living area flows seamlessly to a private balcony overlooking the Gulf, filling the space with natural light and coastal charm. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and opens directly to the living and dining areas, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxing or entertaining.



The bedroom offers a cozy retreat, while the hallway includes built-in bunks and the living room features a sleeper sofa, allowing the condo to comfortably sleep up to six guests. The bathroom is conveniently accessible from both the bedroom and hallway, providing comfort and privacy for everyone.

Guest Access:

Ronin Stays uses SuiteOp for guest access. Before arrival, guests will receive a link through their booking channel and/or email to complete a quick pre-check-in. Through that same link, you’ll find everything you need for your stay — including check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations, and more. Once check-in begins, the SuiteOp app provides instant access to the property within seconds. In the rare event of any issues, a backup lockbox with a physical key is available on-site.



The Neighborhood:

The home is located gulf-side, just off of Santa Rosa Blvd on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac with no thru traffic. Fort Walton Beach is a safe, military-friendly community conveniently situated near Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field—two of the largest military installations in the area. It’s the perfect spot for families or anyone seeking a calm, welcoming place to call home. You’ll feel right at home the moment you arrive.



Getting Around:

Getting around Okaloosa Island is simple and straightforward, though public transportation options are limited. For the best convenience and flexibility, having a car is recommended to explore the area and nearby attractions. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft operate locally and are great for quick trips to nearby spots such as The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island, Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, and downtown Fort Walton Beach. Biking is another enjoyable way to get around, with several bike-friendly roads and scenic routes along the coastline. If you plan to explore neighboring areas like Destin or Navarre, a personal vehicle or rental car will give you the freedom to experience everything the Emerald Coast has to offer.



Okaloosa Island offers endless fun just minutes from the condo. The sugar-white beaches and emerald waters are the main attraction, with public beach access only a 2-minute walk from your door. Enjoy a morning stroll or spot dolphins from the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, located about 1 mile away.



The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is 1 mile away and perfect for families, offering dolphin shows and interactive exhibits. Right next door, The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island features beachfront dining, shops, and seasonal events — all within a 3-minute drive.



Families and kids will love Goofy Golf, a classic miniature golf course just 2.5 miles away, and Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone, only 1.5 miles away, with mini-golf, go-karts, an arcade, and a ropes course.



Golfers can tee off at Fort Walton Beach Golf Club (6 miles away) or Shalimar Pointe Golf Club (8 miles away). History buffs will enjoy the Air Force Armament Museum, about 7 miles away, showcasing historic aircraft and military exhibits.



For dining and nightlife, downtown Fort Walton Beach is just 10 minutes west, offering waterfront restaurants, boutiques, and live music. Drive 15 minutes east to Destin’s HarborWalk Village, where you’ll find boat tours, dolphin cruises, deep-sea fishing, and vibrant entertainment along the harbor.



Other Things to Note:

All booking guests must submit a photo of their ID for verification, complete and sign the Ronin Stays Rental Agreement, fill out the check-in form, and choose either the damage waiver protection plan ($45) or a security deposit ($250) before receiving check-in instructions. Once these steps are completed, your personal check-in code will be sent one hour before your scheduled check-in time. To avoid any delays, please ensure these requirements are taken care of in advance.



No Pets Allowed!



There are two convenient parking areas within the complex — one on the north side near Santa Rosa Blvd and another on the south side closest to the beach. Between them, you’ll find around 30 total spaces, including 2 designated handicapped spots. Parking is unassigned and available on a first-come, first-served basis, but there’s rarely a shortage of spaces.



Two charcoal grills are available in the pool area for guest use. Please be considerate of others and clean up after each use.



There are no cameras on the exterior or interior of the house itself, but the HOA has community cameras on it's footprint for guest security.



These services are routine and outside of our control. While maintenance staff typically won’t need access to the unit itself, if entry is ever required, we’ll always notify you in advance.



Please note: The nightly rate includes up to 3 guests. For groups larger than 3 (up to a maximum of 6 guests), there is an additional charge of $25 per guest, per night. This helps cover the extra utilities, cleaning, and general wear and tear. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the Bungalow in great shape for everyone!

If you booked through our website, email is the best way to reach us. Our team actively monitors messages 24/7 to ensure timely support.



Please note that while our team is responsive after hours, some services may be limited during that time. We typically do not engage in direct guest interaction unless it is an urgent or emergency situation.



All of our Short-Term Rentals are self check-in to ensure a smooth arrival and to respect your privacy. Rest assured, detailed instructions and everything you need for check-in will be provided in advance.
