Newly remodeled, exceptional villa near Lake Sumter Landing! Welcome to the Village of Hemingway! Enjoy this beautiful, updated two bedroom, two bath home situated between Lake Sumter and Brownwood Paddock Square. Pet friendly with lots of privacy. Free WiFi Netflix and Amazon Prime. The property is partially privacy fenced with beautiful landscaping providing shade for meals on the outdoor patio. Your rental includes a Yamaha QuieTech 4-seater gas golf cart. The Hemingway pool is within walking distance or 2 minutes by golf cart.
Shopping is 5 minutes by golf cart at nearby Colony Plaza including Publix, Walgreens, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Citizens Bank, McDonalds, Subway, etc. Numerous challenging executive golf courses, including Roosevelt, Truman and Sarasota, only a short golf cart ride away. Local dog parks include Paradise Park, Mulberry, and Springdale. Lake Sumter is 9 minutes away offering a variety of restaurants and retail stores, as well as wonderful live entertainment nightly. Brownwood Paddock is 12 minutes away for a change of pace. Make new friends, eat, drink, dance, and enjoy all that The Villages has to offer!

My son and his partner loved their stay. The Christmas tree was a nice surprise. The Villa is beautiful and the location is outstanding. The host was welcoming and reached out to them. Thank you!

It was a very nice house. Well decorated and complete with most items needed to live. The house was advertised with a golf cart, which is fantastic in the villages. Except for one thing, it was not equipped to carry golf clubs. We ended up being able to rent a two-seater that did hold golf clubs. There were also 2 cameras located outside the house. One focused on the front porch and the other focused on the garage and driveway area. We constantly felt like we were being watched when we sat on the front porch and left the house through the garage. Other than that, the place was well kept with no other problems.

With regard to the golf cart, it is noted in the listing that the golf cart is a Yamaha QuieTech 4-seater - we do not golf so this works for us - but the golf cart is included at no additional cost so it is an extra. As far as the cameras, most ALL vacation rentals are equipped with Ring cameras or the like in order to maintain security of the home as well as for our guests. It was explained in detail in the Welcome Booklet that there were cameras at the two entrances so this was well known. I’m sorry if you felt “watched” - it certainly was not the case - but given that we do not live in the state, we have to protect our property at a distance and it is only reasonable to use security cameras.
