One of the most unique villas in all of Destin! Yes, you could rent a typical bland vacation home, but staying in the Rose of Destin will provide you and your guests a truly unique and beautiful experience! Mediterranean style villa built on the absolute premier lot on the water in the private and gated community of Destiny West...nothing better!
Sleeps 8 adults very comfortably in the 4 ensuites (3 King, 1 Queen) but you can also bring up to 4 additional guests sleeping on the exceptional leather recliners or the 3rd floor sofas (not sofa beds) or using our 2 AeroBeds.
Besides being right on the lake (no power boats allowed, but we have some fun stuff!), you'll also be a short 5 minute walk from the most beautiful beaches! Guests have access to our 6-seat golf cart for cruising the area (liability waiver required), and boat rentals are available in Destin Harbor close by (any boat rentals are not included in your rental). There are dozens of great restaurants within a few miles to please everyone's taste buds! Guests will also have access to the Destiny West clubhouse, with it's huge, beautiful pool, gym, tennis and pickleball court, etc...all just a short half-block away!
Enjoy a relaxing vacation at this 4-bedroom (all ensuite) villa in Destin, Florida...just a couple of minutes to the beautiful beaches. Rose of Destin has three King suites plus one Queen suite for comfortable sleeping for 8 adults. Additional sleeping for 4 smaller guests on recliners, sofas, and AeroBeds. Find plenty of space both inside and outside to relax next to the lake, go to the beach, cruise with the golf cart, or enjoy the clubhouse. The double deck pool and hot tub is right out the doors!
Beach lover? Just a 1,000' walk or a 2 minute golf cart ride to the beach. We have plenty of beach toys and equipment. The villa features five bathrooms, including the jetted bathtub in the master for a nice, refreshing soak. Year-round comfort with air conditioning and heating. Whether you want to unwind or stay active at the clubhouse just a few minute walk away, this villa offers an enjoyable experience for all.

We are very experienced VRBO owners and hosts, having rented our homes in CA, KY, and FL for over 17 years. This is our 2nd home in Destin, and our Louisville home is also available for short-term, special events rental (see VRBO#2483431)
Why Destin? Well, the weather, gulf waters, and so many restaurants close by. The snow-white sugar sands of the gulf are so inviting...and just a short 1,000' walk away (even shorter with the included golf cart!)
Rose of Destin is simply unlike anything we've seen in Destin. It is our residence the winter months but will be available for short-term, vacation rental for spring and summer months, starting at the end of April, 2026.
My wife and I are both in our mid-70s and love traveling to Europe and throughout the US in our motor coach. We were attracted to this property because it is so unique and reminded us of so many of the great places we've been to in Europe. We looked at a lot of homes, but they all seemed so cookie-cutter as rentals (you've seen them in your searching...small bedrooms, square white rooms with nothing special about them). As with our other homes, we really wanted our renters to experience something different...and special. Yes, there will be a LOT of less expensive homes in Destin you could rent, but if you want something memorable...we invite you to vacation at The Rose of Destin!

The Rose of Destin is located within the private, gated community of Destiny West. The house is right around the corner from the great clubhouse, pool, gym, tennis and pickleball court (bring your raquets!)...all available to you when you rent Rose of Destin. The Rose also sits on what I believe to be the premier lot on the lake...great views from the large terraces and decks. Soak up inn the pools and have a relaxing time!
If you play golf...WOW, there are great courses within just a few miles...Regatta Bay, Emerald Bay, Kelly Plantation, Indian Bayou, Seascape, Raven Club, Burnt Pine, and Sandestin Links...all within 1-5 miles from the Rose of Destin! Definately, bring your clubs and reserve your tee times!
